Anonymous, 05 Feb 2017My honest opinion is that the way things are today, i would... moreMy honest and blunt comment to ' honest opinion' of yours is - price is not of hardware / raw materials used for a phone. Price is about the final product that you get.

iOS is a very simple and stable OS. And yes it works perfectly smooth even at modest RAM.

Probably what people don't like is - nothing is free attitude of apple.

In Android world one gets lots of freebies.

Seems you are commenting purely based on someone elses opinions without any first hand experience of iOS.

No OS / system is perfect. It upto user how to use it perfectly.

Can you charge the Google Pixel using the provided USB-A to USB-C cable and the HTC Nexus 9 charger? In the same context, does the Pixel need a specific car charger and battery bank?

Out of my 4 friends who bought an iPhone, 3 sold it im... moreMy honest opinion is that the way things are today, i would pay no more than INR 10000 (about USD 150) for an iPhone 7. And this despite the fact that i like a lot of things about the phone itself. Like:
                        - size
                        - build quality (feel)
                        - good camera

It is iOS that sinks the ship down. And with every update, Apple launches a ton of features except making iOS more open and make menu navigation user friendly.

Out of my 4 friends who bought an iPhone, 3 sold it immediately even when they were in real loss, but they said with the half price they got from selling it second hand they bought a better android than that iPhone. Only one which I mentioned is still using it.
                            1st : iPhone 6s, bought 60000, sold 40000, bought S7 for 50000.
                            2nd : iPhone 6, bought 55000, sold 30000, bought z3 compact for 35000
                            3rd iPhone 6s, bought 55000, sold 30000, bought one plus 3.

Dunno why information to clearly tell users that iOS is so basic (from a user perspective) is not generally available.

Anonymous, 05 Feb 2017So isn't it easier to buy an iPhone?iOS is simply not good enough to be completely depended upon as a single phone for all needs. I say this as someone who uses both Android Nougat and and iOS 10.0.2 devices every single day.

Besides, the difference in user friendliness (for those things supported by both phones) between iOS and Android is also like night and day.

Anonymous, 05 Feb 2017So isn't it easier to buy an iPhone?Apple users keep advertising Apple everywhere and they just can't miss a chance. If I say something bad about lack of feature in my phone one of my friends who is ifan comes out and says "that's why I use iPhone" I asked "does your phone has this feature?" shamelessly says no.

In Windows platform of 90's, there was such thing which results in the same manner as Android.

Handsets with less apps to work or games to play, never suffer from this habit.

I tested around 30 handsets in android from LG GT 540 to Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, all of them after 6 month of heavy usage start to malfunction in either calling, messaging or multimedia, random restart.

Handsets were separated by tasks: (each one in its arrival to their last official update)

                                      60 handsets for Multimedia:
30 updated to latest possibleversion, were flawless by their time performance Before Android 5.0
30 never updated, mostly (24) lost their smooth functionality after 5~6 month,
                                      30 Handsets for Gaming:
15 updated to latest possible version, flawless up to Android 5.0
15 never updated, became clumsy, but fully functional
                                      60 Handsets for Social networking:
30 updated to latest possible version, flawless in functionality, but filled up in data collection
30 never updated, mostly (20) reached latest available version of apps, partly functional.

                                      Conclusion reached:

Apps which are unofficial or outdated, keep handsets' resources, regardless of functionality or being useless.

When uninstall apps, same as Windows 98, 2000, Me, XP and Finally Vista, there are threads which remains hidden and use few power of processing and fill up some space in RAM.

In Windows OS you had the choice to remove files directly from any part of OS, but here in Android OS we do not have the free access to either cache or sub system files. Even if we reach there, there are limitations to do any change to system files which are mostly hidden active malware, instead of healthy software.

OS's Like iOS or less popular Windows Phone (or 10 mobile), limited access to install or uninstall apps to their App store.

To reach top performance out of Android after 6 month, 3 risky ways worked out.
                                      1- Use custom Rom.
2- Clear Cache in start up menu.
3- Only Root your handset and delete unfamiliar files and folders.

The problem rested deep inside the platform and a pain killer to this fault is to swap the handset anytime after the 6 month, the system starts to bother you.
Little extra money is worthy, when you want to have what you like for another 6 month, healthy
