I buy what I need. I recommend people what they need or want about their smart phones. be it samsung, Lg, Asus, Lenovo, Xiaomi, or anything else. But I wonder why only this time around I want to see every brand's creativity, if not delayed by samsung that is.
Therefore, I don't understand about what "lame excuses" you mean there.

But most people will be replacing flagships within 1-2 years. And I've had plenty of amoled screens that lasted perfectly over that time period. But the whole purpose of pentile is to actually make it last longer no doubt. And LG's w-oled doesn't suffer that problem with colour or even "burn-in". Burn-in is actually burn out where the voltage over time causes a weaker signal. It can suffer image retention but you can get rid of image retention easily using a mode they have. It requires very specific calibration per unit though in order to gain perfect colour accuracy. So they can't really certify modes because each unit produced is going to be just a bit different. It's best to get the tv and hire someone to calibrate it. That's really its only weakness but if you spend that much on a TV then you are already a videophile.

LG and Samsung both based in Korea. Why the heck LG couldnt negotiate with their Samsung counterpart? Dont give lame excuses. Samsung manufactured ALL of SD835 by themselves. I would be more surprised if LG bought it all and Samsung left with nothing. All that hard work collaborating and negotiating contract with Qualcomm go to dust. You call this greedy? Samsung is the only brand in Asia shipped the largest number of smartphone per year. They gonna need all the chipset if they want to comply with the global demand and pre-order.
It would be more devastating if news like, "Samsung delay global release of S8 due to lack of chipset" or "Samsung only release SD835 version of S8 in S.Korea and China market" or "Samsung SD835 version will come to US by end of year" or "The rest of the world will only get the Exynos version of S8". Then, samsung will be mocked further after the Note7 event. People will say stuff like Samsung being incompetent not being able to get hold of SD835 that they manufacture themselves. News like ,"What is the reason Samsung can't get hold of SD835 that they manufactured themself?", will be the hot topics. Now, you see why Samsung bought it all.

The col... morei have s7 edge from the moment it got out and i used at full brightness all the time.. i can confrim that the display have lower brightness then was when i buy it .. i dont realize that till i start to put it close to diferent phones.. i have a friend who have same s7 edge that he got it recently and have more brightness then mine.. an lg g5 at first was almost half brightness then mine.. but now i can say they are almost = .. definetly amoled lose brightness power in time . or maybe only if you use it full bright all the time

The color rendition is still the same as it was when I got it. Same goes for the Galaxy Captivate that I had a while back. There is no magic "problem" with AMOLED, it's the display control board that might have issues, based on capacitor wear, but that is largely individual device dependent, and affects other screen types as well, not just AMOLED. My HTC One M7 developed a slight green tint after a year of usage, but that was a problematic phone overall, just remember the 4mp "Ultrapixel" camera, that had a bad solder mask and developed a Pink/Violet noise in low light.

Humm these numbers has my SOny Xperia XZ nougat 7.0...Slighty lower multi core.
Idk why Samsung monopolized Sn835, because S8 wont sell well. Samsung fanboys just doesnt want bigger screens. ANd Samsung opted for bigger. Thats general opinion tho.
