I'm happy with my V20 that I received as my replacement from tmobile & at no extra charge when my G4 went into bootloop. I was extremely shocked when it came. Being a lover of the G series, I with a heavy heart will not purchase the G6. I love having extra batteries at my disposal.

You obviously have more failth than me in that. I can see 821 based phones from later this year being the same price as the 835 ones. The only saving grace in the first instance is that the S8 and S8 Plus are so overpriced nothing else is likely to match them at this time in terms of price. 821 one based phones from last year will most likely be cheaper as a result of being last generation as well as last years devcies. The phones released this year with the 821 I reckon will be very similar in price to the 835 ones. That is a direct result of Samsung hoarding the 835 chips for itself.

So why can't LG wait for the 835 to release? It's not like people will be lining up to buy their phone anyways... since they no longer have: a removable battery to offer, a good phone design to entice buyers since the LG G4... or well any advantage over their rivals... I don't get how LG beating Samsung to market with an offering that has an inferior CPU and inferior battery life at a similar price as an S8 = Profit

There is a very good chance that phones released this year with the 821 will cost the same as the ones with the 835 this year, as a result of Samsung hoarding the 835 chips for themselves. At the same price would want the latest or a previous generation inferior chip in your new phone?

I think that in february they will show a 500$ "normal version" with 821/4GB RAM and later, in april/may/june, they will release a 700$ "premium version" with 835/6-8GB RAM.
