The biggest letdown for people interested in buying galaxy sII...
Some of online retailers have started pre-booking of this phone & they r pricing this phone at $800 - $900.
This phone is ridiculously pricey......
I won't pay so much money even for a Tablet.
And if someone still puts his hard earned money into buying this phone than he is sure to be ditched by samsung with no future upgrades of android at all !!!

Even the original Galaxy S has a bigger screen than iphone. I see people reading tiny text on the iphone because if the super sharp retina display - can't be good for eyes.

all features like usb OTG of N8 except the 12mp and xenon flash with some addition nal features like DLNA.

AnonD-1578, 14 Feb 2011nice phone, the only bad thing is the type of processor... ... moreSS orion core better than Tegra2. It can output 3 monitor, mini HDMI, Tivi out, DLNA. Tegra2 can out 2 monitor that mean why LG Optimus 3D use TI-Omap insteal Tegra2.

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2011I wonder if samsung will ever make a mobil that doesn't loo... moreLOL, it does look similar to the iphone but for me it's not what it looks like that concerns me, it's what it's running on and that thankfully is nothing like an iphone, the sooner the iphone dies the better, I thank Apple for getting other companies to pull their finger out of their butts and start fighting back, but that's as far as i go, apple can die tomorrow and i'll not even blink, smile sure :)

nice phone, the only bad thing is the type of processor... galaxy s was an arm cortex, with tv-out conectivity, meanwile the new galaxy 2 has a orion dual core, without any tv-out conectivity, it's impossible on this processor. i guess motorola atrix is a better choise 'has an arm cortex dual core a9 processor'.

job well done for samsung.
others said that htc will come up with better specs, who the hell care about it. what is important is that how the user treat it. look samsung launch their product ahead of htc so the latter company have the time to boost the specs to steal the spotlight. But still samsung innovate ground-breaking technology.
