I've been using that feature for no less than 3 years, syncronizing my phone, tablet and both computers (work and home). They recently changed the way it syncs, but still works.

Preloading, guessing where the user will click, is cheating! Opera is still unusable because of how it handles bookmarks!

veryangrynerd, 07 Feb 2017So it took 5.5mins to load a page before?Nah, it used to take 5.270 seconds now it takes 0.010 seconds OR 10 milliseconds. BTW it's nice to Opera still going strong and developing new features.

I've updated mine. Very smooth and much faster. Android version is very good too. My family members use only Opera. Thanks Opera team.

There is an opera extension that allows you to use chrome extensions. The extension system is essentially the same between the two.

i've been using opera since 2011

                      veryangrynerd, 07 Feb 2017So it took 5.5mins to load a page before?Exactly what I am thinking. Lol. I think it's 5 seconds, they made a typo here:P

EDIT: Saw the Source page. That's 0.1 sec versus 5 secs

I want to Switch from Chrome but because other's don't offer a huge library of extensions like Chrome. I am not able to switch :(

AnonD-425519, 08 Feb 2017I read somewhere that Opera is now owned by Chinese? A lot ... moreIt's bought by the Chinese but privacy is still according to Norwegian laws, where Opera is from. Opera also has free VPN now, and it is according to VPN provider's land of origin (Canada) laws. So, don't worry about it. If something changes the whole internet will talk about it.

I read somewhere that Opera is now owned by Chinese? A lot of tracking going on, is that true?

Opera is my first choice right now!

LostInTheSorrow, 07 Feb 2017I usually don't notice such small changes but I've to admit... moreAdBlock is a bit bloated nowadays, try uBlock Origin instead. It's lighter, faster, open source and has many of extra options for advanced users. Also, Opera has a built-in ad blocker.

Great! Innovation! Chrome has a similar feature, prefetching pages you go almost all the time, but this is way better. If only I could sync everything from my mobile devices to all my computers using Opera, I would've ditched Chrome before.
