            sr777, 10 Feb 2017Unfortunately this doesn't work like that.Why?

I mean, i side loaded Facebook lite and Messenger lite (they're both unavailable in the UK) and it works flawlessly.

Update: Just tried YouTube Go, it works fine but it doesn't seem to let me save any videos as it says that the owner hasn't allowed it to be shared etc. still could be useful sometimes imo :) (i used apkmirror)

But the beauty of android is that you could just sideload the APK and install this app on your phone :)

Actually, that's what i'm going to do in the next few weeks, i'll wait for a stable version and get it.

It interests me more whether they'll somehow encrypt those video files so that they can only be played on YouTube app, or they'll provide a complete freedom.

Would be nice to use in the US but they appear to have "blocked" it by not letting you download anything if you sideload it.

Internet is expensive in our country, yet Google is not offering this service to us.

I use myTube on Windows (both PC and phone) to download in a low rate time. And for Android I use NewPipe.

I really don't like this because it is like stealing from the content creators. Wish Google would offer the service to use as well.
