Anonymous, 09 Feb 2017You listen too much on the lies and conspiracy theories fro... moreYou are so very, very wrong about Putin. The very last thing Putin would ever want is a broken EU. Putin wants a healthy EU, so he can do more business with it. The EU would also greatly benefit from more business with Russia, instead of business with fat US companies, who just try to prey on the EU and exploit it as much as possible.
The US is the one who desperately wants a weak and broken EU. The US still furious that their a$$hat TTIP didn't go through, which would've given them a free pass to exploit them as much as possible, without any inhibitions.
The US is also furious that the EU is more and more looking into expanding their business with the East, especially Russia and China, instead of continuing to buy low-quality US crap at rip-off prices.
Thus the US wants to demolish the EU as much as possible, using anti-Russia, anti-China and pro-US propaganda. A weak EU would be much easier to prey on for the US. It would be much easier for NSA surveillance either. Why does this EU cling to its privacy so hard, causing such problems for Google and other data mining companies from the US?

Anyway, great job, EU. Geo-blocking should be totally outlawed, everywhere.

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2017For example economical, cultural, national, legislatorial a... moreYou listen too much on the lies and conspiracy theories from RT and other disinformation/propaganda organizations! EU is based on liberalism, freedom, and free trade and free movement of people! Democracy is all about we together change the things we do nor like, EU bureaucracy...! Accusing immigrants or all muslims, or all jews..., being the cause of all problems is not "free speech"! Brexit was based on lies, accusing immigrant workers/taxpayers from Poland and Sweden... being the cause of criminality and unemployment and high healthcare costs and...! UK is not a part of Schengen so they already have total control over their border against anyone from outside EU! All over EU racist/fascist political parties accuse immigrants from the rest of EU being the cause of every problem! Putin wants EU, democracy and freedom..., to fall apart, and RT, and paid "trolls", is one of his tools to make that happen!
EU should be one market with the same access to Netflix... regardless of country!, just as all and the same access is available in both California and Florida... in USA!

The freedom you talk about is the one of others having to agree with you (and restrict their freedoms to your whims), aka NOT freedom at all.

You can't tell the truth because it is politically incorrect and they label it as "hate speech". The whole western media is biased and controlled by the establishment and they're washing out the brains of people. The purpose of the EU is to serve the interests of corporations and the establishment like George Soros and to enslave and steal the resources from the peripheral and Eastern European countries.

My carrier offers me a complementary service with the TV channels over 3g and I only need to use it when I am abroad, to keep in touch with news from my country but with this geo blocking I could never access it. Maybe now I can!

Geo blocking is probably the primary reason for people to continue pirating media. They should just make it flat out illegal to block content based on location.
