my phone, is pre-installed with Nougat. My Nexus Player has been updated to Nougat since 15 Dec, and my Nvidia Shield K1 Tablet received Nougat few days ago.

Too bad not all manufacturers released the android base update
My xiaomi Redmi Note 2 still stuck in lollipop
But I'm using custom rom based on Android 6.0

My english is bad.all of person who say that ios not usable!!i want to say ,you must jailbrick your iphone and you can see a lot of tweak an customizison.more stablity more performance and more of every thing.and you can feel freeeeeee than android.my job is repiring all smartphones.i flash every bugeis android phones every day for virus and lose all data in it but iphone you dont need to wory.your iphone is secure and stable and nobody cant open it........android=rubish.

I'm non-tech savvy (As you can probably tell!) - But one of the more obvious enhancement are: with screen display off, being able to at glance - see all latest activity (on my owned Galaxy S7) displayed for me without lifting a finger! Emails, Twitter, etc., etc.(apart from various appropriate coloured lights flashing!). NOUGAT was autmatically downloaded a few days ago.

Galaxy Trend Plus, running some good Nougat 7.1.1
Don't waste time using your OEM UI, grab AOSP. I feel like its way better

The reason why nougat is popular, is because it has:
1. Real splitscreen function without using any of those third party apps. And
2. Has Daydream VR(Requires a snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB RAM or higher, and a better display than the LCD like the super amoled display. Otherwise, its a splitscreen phone only)
