It would be really awesome to see those features in the new nokia phones! Maybe Nokia can license them to HDM.

Nokia McLaren prototype is beautiful. So luxus and manly. Aluminum unibody, 20MP camera with Carl Zeiss optic, OIS and big sensor and TRUE 3D Touch. Snapdragon 800/801 and 2GB RAM. The prototype is still there, a few lucky people tried it and they were shocked how advanced it was for a 2014 phone. Amaze us again Nokia!

kurotsuki, 10 Feb 2017N9 was beautiful. Wondering whether they can achieve that k... moreYa you are right but i want also the design of lumia 830 aluminum frame corner. Larger radius on screen panel corner than frame corner opposite to 930 has the same entire frame thickness. Nokia x android has the design too.

So then nokia.. symbian was a tidy os, windows is a stupid annoying one, leaves us with flexible and feature rich android (stupid name yes) modify it to be more advanced. Need a nice design like s7 or better, oled screen min 2k resolution! Needs to be bezelless or curved too. Camera with 4k and 1080@120 fps min and superior quality somehow. Try dual snapdragon processors onboard like 625 or whatever.. make vr ecosystem.. ask 1000$ then call it a flagship or else you will fail forever :)

Nokia not being creative recently? Let me remind you Nokia is also working on foldable phone (pattent registered in USA in 2013, approved in 2016), flexible phone (prototype shown in 2012) nano water-resistant coating or camera sensor with graphene layer. Some work on new version of PureView technology is believed to start in 2013-2014.
Those are works of Nokia Technologies, a Nokia Corporation subsidiary, independent on Nokia Mobile Division which was sold to Microsoft.
If it going to appear on future phones or not, time will show us.
NOTE: Pureview, ClearBlack and other are trademarks of MIcrosoft. This means Microsoft only holds the names, NOT pattents- those belong to Nokia Corporation.

The N9 was my first N Series phone, and it was a joy to use. It still looks beautiful up to this day.
I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

HMD headquarters is located in Espoo, Finland. To be more precise, at the Nokia Campus area inside a Nokia building.

Let's see if anything the "real" NOKIA stood for, will be present in the new devices. Build quality, creativity in form factors, signal quality and productivity. I really hope it will.

Anonymous, 10 Feb 2017@commenters Your fanboyism is disgustingEveryone is free to express himself as he likes as long as he doesn't offend all others.
Sorry to tell you that you are the one that offended all others here & not the fanboys.
So your comment is the discusting one...
Your comment is totally out of subject since the subject is N-series.(and shouldn't be posted).
If you have to say something for N-series do it otherwise kindly leave please because you have disgusted already enough...
