Who wouldn't want a 5.8 inch display phone that is the size of a regular 5.1 inch display phone? That alone will be the main reason people will be interested in the Galaxy S8.
And if you hadn't notice yet, edgy displays is what trending now. Even Apple is rumored to make an edgy display on the iPhone X

What a great way to push customers away from you by not making a 5.1 inch flat version. So smart Samsung. I'd rather buy Xperia XZ or even iPhone 7. Bezels make it more comfortable to hold and edge display looks ugly.

samsung must make two different CPU the BIG & little. because A53 is to old now it must be replace to A63 and 70% all improvemnt i hope that mediatek wll read this and make the A63 CPU -_-

The Note series is just too big to kill, as it has many loyal users and still 6 years after it's inception, nothing comes close to the S-Pen.

Makes sense since both versions of the S8 will have curved edges so they can't the 'Edge' designator would make no sense, then they'll call the larger version S8+.

AnonD-643350, 11 Feb 2017Are we that naive to think that Samsung will throw all the ... moreWell the screen size is different size and shape so thats not possible, processor and camera are new versions so no there as well, not sure about Ram or flash storage or iris scanner though, if they were not built then no reason why they cant use these parts unless they have redeveloped them as well, i am sure as with all tear downs we might find that out especially to confirm or deny such rumours but we have to wait and see

If you wanted the note 8 in... moreOk, thank you guys (Imperator Neubaticus and Someone else) to convince me, you're right, i will probably be waiting for the Note8 since the Note series always bring something new like the new UX, new features and the S-Pen itself. But if the Note8 will have smaller screen than the S8+, it would disappoint me :-(. But let's hope the Note8 will have the same screen size with the S8+. :-)
