How good is this Quad DAC? I hope it's good, because LG has been doing a half mouth and fragile things.

even an octa DAC wont be enough to sell this phone if its coming with SD821 people will probably wait and pick up S8. I don't know who makes the business strategy at LG they always come up with the best recipe for failure. No wonder we dont see likes of LG HTC and Sony anywhere near top market shareholders.

AnonD-93439, 13 Feb 2017AMOLED is awful when it comes to photography and photo editing.You can't do professional photo editing in a mobile device. Also samsung's AMOLED screens are very good in color accuracy, even better than some LCDs.

I'm wishing SAMSUNG with S8 also add some powerful DAC/AMP. but I'm very eager to see S8+ in real. how that big display in small form factor. would be awesome to enjoy media content..

The Quad DAC is nice, but to show it's audio prowess, LG also needs to include proper stereo speakers in their flagships.

I wish they had AMOLED display, best for media consumption. and I've finally came back to LG.. After using G4 and V10 I left LG only cuz of display.. this time LG doing really great job.. I'm glad it have IP6(8/7), I love powerful AMP so that is great news to hear LG doing great in sound. I can live with there software but not there Display.. who knows this time they used better display than last time.. but it will still LCD and I don't enjoy watching TV series on iPhone 7Plus as Much as I do on Pixel XL..

Also owned one for a year and haven't regretted buying a single phone so much as I did buying the M8. I hope G6 is on par with M8 when using headphones, yeah. :)

I hope that if this phone has great audio setup then they should include an above average battery so owners can enjoy great audio longer... .. pls pls pls hahahaha

The A-S801 {Yamaha} outputs 100 watts/channel into 8 ohms with very low distortion (0.019% THD).
{LG G6} Also, increased circuit integration has helped bring down loss of information and overall distortion to just 0.0002 percent.
If it's not incredible so what's that!? Good work LG! Outstanding
