For americans it's best apple, because you use one pc, transfer data from one pc. I don't like apple just because,as I mentioned earlyer, you can only transfer data from one pc. I have several pcs - windows, linux, windows. I have apple mp3 player, father gave as present, player is good but that's not the point,the point is that apple want me to use everything only from them,so gives so many limitations,that it pushes me away from buying apple and enjoying. So I use symbian and android phones, despite they have several issues. But hey, nothing is perfect..

Nokia losing share market by the day, opting to shove symbian into the background as it has failed to compete with IOS and Android. Your CEO's keynote was about being able to compete with Iphone and Android devices. Sure the IPhone had it's fair share of issues but N8 issues are worse, slow browser, turning off never to switch back on, some people resorted to shoving it in the fridge to cool it off a little, purple patches on the screen, most people I know are on the third or fourth handsets as Nokia's had to exchange em but problems still persist. I know all about it as my pal works in CPW and says there's been more N8's returned than IPhone 4's. If u consider the fact that iPhone has shipped more units yet N8 still has a higher return rate then you will begin to understand why it's been voted the best.

This is not a unique feature of Symbian.
I can load all streaming video sites thourhg my phone browser on Android.
Do you have a valid point??
I work in a telecoms company on a smartphone tech support team.
Symbian is by far and away one of the most backwards and unreliable operating systems in use today.
Everything from menu structure to support is dire.
people dont find it instantly intuative like iOS or Android.
Also up until now (refer to the date of this post)
apart from the N900 most of nokias range still use ARM11 cores, they are spectaluarly unimpressive pieces of kit.
When I think of nokia smartphones I think
Pros - good cameras
Cons - Everything else
sums their current range and software up pretty well I think.

poor selection this all from us selectors if the korean company gets the award then its the shame for them so they given it to apple and htc no surprise bec they not doing this for first time just shame on u selectors we know clearly its the year of galaxy....

I don't in what basis Iphone 4 is best mobile phone. Its neither Value for money nor gives good services. U can't tell a phone best only because it has best touch...

The potential of iphone is in those apps.
For example for me, i have on my pocket: best music making app, best guitar tuner on mobilephone, metronome click, using iPhone as guitar amp (like whaatt!?!?! :), vocal ccoach in my pocket, many many guitar tutorials and many many other useful music apps for my music hobbie.
It's like going new level with using phone in so many different ways.

If it's the best then why did your CEO decided to replace it with WP? If it's the best then how come it's steadily losing ground against Android and iOS?
I'll make it easier for you and I'll answer it so you don't tire yourself thinking about an excuse. The answer is it's because no matter how many features it got and no matter how light weight it is on battery, the way it executes stuff is pure freaking crap!
Your so called "best" OS is a burning platform and it's time to jump off it mate.

I like the iphone 4 but the only thing i dont like is that the itunes system.....a sync one. if we try to put a same phone in another computer to take some staff.. it just sync and erase everything. the second thing i dont like is that it dont have flash player, beocz of that i cant play the video from the website. just becoz of this reason it suck if we compare with samsung galaxy s 2
