              Ipad has no real backgrounding (can't run things like tasker), and the aspect ratio is the worst for netflix and youtube (half of the reasons to own a tablet). So iPad is disastrous.

              There is Google Pixel, but Z4 is still the best android tablet. The community is supporting it too and may get official LineAgeOS support. If true, then it will have support for many more years down the road.

              If you find it I'd still recommend tablet Z4 ... best android tablet (very lightweight too, most lightweight tablet ever, half the weight than those terrible Microsoft tabs, despite having better battery life).

                Ipad and then shield k1 for android. Thats it for tablets.

So if you want to buy a tablet today, there is nothing left than iPad or a used android tablet if you really need this aspect ratio

                      Haha, original tab 2 buyers got punked. Instead of having it upgraded to Nougat like they were supposed to, they are basically told to buy a new tab equivalent to their own just to have nougat features. How effed up is that? And I'm sure some will fall for that and justify Samsung even for that ... how silly of them.

                      I'm happy that I avoided this tablet altogether (due to its low battery and awkward aspect ratio in fact) and bought Xperia tab Z4 instead. 'Cause right now my Z4 is getting the nougat update. Not only that, it's aspect ration (non 4:3) is precious in an age of square tablets...
