Samsung and LG are very aggressive in market and launching android device after device.......nice.
I don't how come iPhone4 got best device. MWC must encourage other players.........i think galaxy s is not a bad choice either for best device of 2010.

samsung and lg were the best of this year's mwc with sony ericsson putting out some cool devices too, as for nokia and htc fail and motorola nothing much since they basically uncovered all their devies in CES.

Anonymous, 18 Feb 2011Nokia never shows new devices at MWC, that's why Nokia Worl... moreNokia showed new devices at MWC before 2010. I would still expect a couple of Symbian new devices (X7 & E6) before summer, which will be announced in March or April, but obviously no new flagship until September. It probably won't be a true flagship, though, but just an updated N8 with a faster processor and perhaps a larger screen. First WP7 phone probably in November at the earliest, but may not be true flagship either rather than a quickly designed standard WP7 phone with a Nokia designed case just in order to get something with WP7 out before the end of the year.

MWC Barcelona: the future are Apple & Android.
The rest of OS and Nokia must fight too hard to reach them.

I really expected the iPhone Nano to be showcased in the congress, but it met my dismays. Nokia too stayed silent. The MWC was more on Android really, lots of it. Even the 3DS and NGP made such little noise in there but thats another story. Xperia Play stole all the thunder in the event and the Samsung Androids.

i was a huge nokia fan but l think google android specifically xperia play have caught my attention. I currently own a nokia c7 but once it comes out i will trade it for the play. lmagine playing psp games and ps1 games on ur phone i can agree with android and iphone fans that the great zeus have been defeatded by kratos. well may be nokia will make nokiabox to play xbox game since they are now with microsoft poor nokia.

I am a Samsung Wave owner and a pretty proud one at that.
However being unbaised I must say that I really think that LG won it this year. Not only did they show amazing phones but they showed phones that actually could shake the whole market. They are the clear vut winner in my eyes.

Arab man, 18 Feb 2011Nokia and microsoft are fighting Android and IOS using thei... moreYes... you are actually right because the chipset vendor and the OS maker must shake hands when it comes to the synergy. Of course, Nokia has good capability enough to overcome this weakness but They can't beat Andorid and iOS area.

AnonD-1906, 18 Feb 2011Feel so sad for you :( Androids rocks!Yes it does but the problem that I was referring to is that Android is the only logical alternative until Meego comes out. I'm not jumping ship to POS I meant IOS (which is proprietary software and not a true OS).
