I have an SE (after an S7) whilst I wait for the LG G6 (like G5's wide angle camera) and although iOS is way less flexible than Android, the phone is nice in the hand, very fast, fluid and stable, with excellent battery life. I have fitted a wireless charging case (£10.99 on Amazon) and so dock it with my 4 or 5 wireless charging docks around the house and office.
Only thing I wish the SE/iOS could do is knock knock to unlock/lock, as I dislike having to reach the top to switch it off. (Samsung put the power button on the right, easier to reach!)
I think it will be very popular in Indian if the market likes a small fast phone and the price is below the UK equiv of £350 for the 64GB model and £300 for 16GB. (I have the 16 and it's good enough as I stream all my content.)

They will use cheap labour an charge Indians top dollar but we know the Indian people are wise and will not fall for this.

Why would Apple manufacture iPhone SE when almost everybody desires large screen iPhones?

Elvis, 17 Feb 2017Does manufacturing iPhone SE in India will change the price? most probably YES !!!
As the cost of import/ excise duty is higher compared to making the phone here.
having said that , i reserve my views on price reduction...
there will just be a marginal difference , ( just to show the difference ) but trust me apple will still remain exclusive and maintain its premium position .

Not even one iPhone SE in known circle of more than 100 iPhone users.
