I own a note 4 mediatek. My wife a note 3 pro snapdragon. Both phones good. No difference at all. How am I supposed to notice a difference between the mediatek and Snapdragon processors?

You're cheating. Maybe you 're Apple die-hard fan.... Hahaha

Or just sayin cuz da internet said so yeah, I used Samsung phones and all of them had problems in hardware(main camera is blurry for 10s when you open app, replaced the camera), speaker fail after 1 year, display fail after 1 month, battery running out of juice in 2-3h of standby after about 5 months of usage, or software bugs...not a single one was flawless in daily usage like the other Nexus, Sony and Microsoft devices I owned and own...Xiaomi have great quality/price, but fairly low build quality like most chinese phones(not all, Oneplus does solid phones), just watch the MI5 bend test.

This shows that A LOT of people likes BRAND, albeit CRAPPY phones....
No matter what others say, Galaxy J & A series are CRAP (except the AMOLED display): expensive, mediocre camera, SoC & its GPU are worse than MediaTek Helio P series, let alone Helio X series, yet people still BASHING MediaTek SoC & CRAZY over Exynos low-end SoC in Galaxy J series...
Nokia is another BRAND that sell CRAP like hotcakes. No matter how you look at it, a 2014 phones with SD 801 (Padfone S, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S5, etc) still MILES better than Nokia, albeit 2 years older & stuck at Android MM officially...
My point is, ARE these people who buy BRANDED, BRAND-NEW phones don't use their brain before buying phones? If u want BRAND-NEW phones, look at Chinese phone makers like lenovo, motorola, alcatel, oneplus, zte, xiaomi, or meizu, or if they want BETTER phones, look at last year flagship-grade phones, as they are cheaper than BRAND-NEW and have better support for spareparts and software, as I see many old flagship phones actually have unofficial OS support at least a year

The A5 got interest since an Indian launch is near. But I really hope they'll release it soon in Canada, especially since we skipped the 2016 edition.
