G6 seems like LG wants to play it safe this year. It basically looks like the Galaxy S8 without the curved display. I hate to say it but the most anticipated phone that will come out this year will come from Apple with the iPhone X. Everything I read from the 10th anniversary iPhone makes it feel like the biggest upgrade ever for it. And I can't really stand iOS at all. I'm Android fanatic for life...
On the brighter side of things, Samsung will release a foldable display phone this year. One of th reasons why I avoid Samsung in the US is we get the inferior Snapdragon and they deprive us with the Exynos. That, and Samsung's bloated skin is just bad optimization. It is still unbelievable that with the S7 edge, it still had terrible lag and would eventually appear months later. I also hate glass backs.
And in other news, the return of the old king, Nokia. I love Nokia. I just read the legendary 3310 is making a comeback. The 3310 has all the best online memes. I would buy a refreshed 3310 like I would for a mini NES! Ah yes, nostalgia...

The LG G6 looks to be like the G5 where it will be overlooked and underappreciated again. From a design standpoint, it just seems more of the same. More of the same. LG's safe move similar to HTC's 10. The hottest looking phone will be the 10th anniversary, $1000+ iPhone.

although it is unique in terms of features (as always LG is) but it is looking ugly in terms of looks (not a flagship looks) specially back side, (that two cameras) against Samsung n apple flagships

In real life use you will not see much difference between SD821 and SD835, except maybe in batterylife. But the price of a phone with SD835 chip will be more expensive...
Also SD821 had some good improvement over SD820 :

The Mix Mix has just a bottom bezel and no one on top, so there is no problem with symmetry like in the case of the LG G6 where the bottom is like more than twice as big as the top. This gives the device a disbalanced design in the way of harming it's design flow. But it's not the bezels itself. Also the rounded shapes of the display are disbalanced to the overall shape of the device. Would have been way for the design flow to go with a square display or adjust the round shape of the body to the round one of the display, but in that case the bezels had to be way more smaller.
Last but not least the back design is just more than awful. They did a terrible job around the camera module.

I hope there will be Lite version with Snapdragon 652 and dual SIM for half the price.
LG G5 SE was a mistake, with same price as regular LG G5

The screen to body ratio is great, rounded corners looks cool too. They could have put on a 2.5D glass though.

It's not ugly but looks are the least of LG's problems. Their battery life is abysmal since G3 through to G5 (V10 and V20 included). G5/V10/V20 was overpriced and huge battery drains when properly used. LG needs to fix their panels that hog all the power when screen-on'd. LG' OS level process optimizations might need more improvements, unless that's already very good then it would just prove how much of a garbage IPS panel they have these days.
I do suspect it is all down to that horrible grade panel.
