The amount of people who iv seen changed from other brands to sony say the same thing Sony caters to what you need at the end of the day shamesung never did. And never will. Their main intent is milking people. You come here saying xz is expensive. The s8 even if it was made of gold isn't worth 800.

Easy way to get the UI you want, though it means no more warranty if you can't restore your phone into factory setup if when needs servicing (= the case with Sony-phones, they certainly will need it often). :) And no, I not any brand-fan - that's idiotic. Had one Galaxy S4, a few HTC's and now a Motorola Nexus 6... Hoping to switch the brand again when buying my next phone in about 5-6 months from now.

And... moreSo, you traded an rock-solid phone which kicks ass in every regard aside from pointless benchmarks, for a fashion statement which is pretty much any Samsung Galaxy flagship. Well good luck with that, I hope you won't end up with fire in your pocket... One look at that messy atrocious Galaxy interface is good enough reason for me to continue avoiding it at all cost.

People are willing to pay $1000 for an iPhone 7 Plus with inferior specs, less capabilities, and worse design, yet here we are, ignoring this one beautiful piece of artwork of an intelligent engineer. I guess it's just all about brand names alone and no longer the true quality of the product

Even the OnePlus 3 with inferior low light camera to the XZ is better than the 3T in low light. When the lights dim out, the XZ can always use its superficial magic of oversampling to output excellent details. In daylight, be prepared, that 23mp beast would instantly kill the weaker solutions on the S7 Edge and G5

And... moreA lot of people using the S7 Edge have switched to the XZ and they have never been as satisfied as they had as they used the XZ. No need to fool yourself because the S7 Edge is inferior to the XZ in many ways. Heck, Nougat update even makes the S7 Edge battery life even worse than what it is already, whereas Sony vastly improved their own
