Motorola Atrix 4G now available for $130, $500 with lapdock

I bought the Atrix 4g this past June without the lapdock for 100 dollars. I waited a few months and found out the lapdock itself was on sale for 300. I promptly went out and purchased it and couldn't be happier.

The lapdock makes the phone into a laptop, (it looks like a laptop, with a 11.6” screen size, full laptop-sized qwerty keyboard and a trackpad.)
So, I would say that price is pretty ok. :D

This has to be the best smartphone out there with the Galaxy S II closely in second! The lapdock is a nice feature but too overpriced. all your getting with that is a foldable screen with a qwerty keyboard much like a laptop and the phone being the processor. Like it shows in the video you can just plug in a bluetooth keyboard and mouse and hdmi to a screen.
Hmm I'd like to have that set up on my t.v.

picked mine up from costco. they have it for $119.99 for a contract extension. I ended up getting charged $109.99 though for some reason, but i wasn't complaining. got out the door for right over $120 with tax

The Moto Atrix was nearly 2.5 x faster than the HTC Droid Incredible and the Samsung Epic 4 G...
The Moto Atrix is an incredibly fast phone and after spending a day with this phone it makes it look twice at our BB Bolt 900....
We didn't do any browser benchmark,but it felt fash and the internet speeds were found to be around 3800 kbps...
We also ran bencdmarks like BenchmarkPi in 720-760 millisecond, which is pretty darn quick...

soraxd, 23 Feb 2011actually.. speaking as a samsung fanboy, i will sadly say t... moreatrix has a lower benchmark score compared to sgs-II because it has to render higher reolution.... where did u see atrix getting a higher score ??

actually.. speaking as a samsung fanboy, i will sadly say the Atrix's processor is better than the S2's.. at least thats what weve seen when the S2 is running android 2.3 and the atrix is running 2.2 (there could be some behind the scenes things going on that make android 2.2 score higher on benchmarks, but thats yet to be discovered..). the Tegra2 specializes in javascript and flash rendering, because of its nvidia's strong graphics encoding.. anyway theres rumors the S2 might also be shipped with a tegra2 processor in some countries, so maybe ill get one of those..

Hi all, £500 pre order for the handset alone SIM Free on kingofgadgets(dot)co(dot)uk. To covert this into Rupees, US/Canadian dollars, Yen, Euros etc, just convert £500 into your local currency. This is my close second choice. Samsung Galaxy 2 is my first choice. On the same website, it is £589 SIM free pre order so a £89 more. I currently have an Iphone 4 which I got in early December and will NOT be going for Iphone 5 regardless of the specs it may have. I am returning back to Android. Prior to me Iphone, I had a HTC Desire. Thanks.

Who needs dual core? Android not optimised for it yet and probably wont be until next year by which time this will be old news! Certainly not paying these prices......doh! Not a Sammy fan so will wait a few months to see what is on offer in the specs race!! lol.
