Anonymous, 21 Feb 2017Would the wide angle one now have better low light performa... moreIt will have a better low light performence compared to the wide angle camera on the G5. In G6 there is actually two rear cameres. One with "normal" angle and one with wide angle.

I'm not agree with this info, I think that G6 will have 20 degrees more than human eye that actually is 125 degrees. So G6 will have 145 degrees of ultra wide angle.

Would the wide angle one now have better low light performance? After all it captures more of the scene, thus more light and has the same 13mp sensor.

Hope it's not a Bootloop and Image Retention problem in the future as the G4 and G5...
My G4 began with Image retention, and failed almost one month ago with the infamous bootloop plague... It is still covered with warranty, thing is I've been told that minor scuffs can void warranty (WTF!?), I'm still waiting for an answer in this regard, and if it will become a total loss on my part... My intention of buying the V20 for the Hi-Fi DAC or even this G6 (that will also have it) will crumble, and LG will the erased of my future market intents...

You ppl are.... dunno what really. SD 810 which nexus 6p has is capable of running every game. Now you say Sd821 is not enough but is 1,5x better than Sd810. It is premium chip capable of going Antutu near 160k with right optimisation. And some if you are wanking because Lg didnt wait for Sd835. Some of you are so uneducated that it pains even me and i dont know you. Jeez do you have to be so annoying? Just wait and see. Because of ppl Lg suffers, because you cant accept anything innovative, now Lg has gone traditional and you already claim that it is failure. OMG

NOOBIANKing, 21 Feb 2017I am a normal user who really likes taking pics. All I need... moreWait for V30 it will have manual videos or pixel2 since pixel had best camera of 2016 so google will put effort to improve it and by that time most phones would already be unvieled then you can think which one suits you

DAMASTA MD, 21 Feb 2017SD 820 or 821?Almost certainly the 821, but this thing had better have a lot more going for it, I for one will be very disappointed unless the following are met or exceeded:
1, new camera sensor tech, OIS for both lenses.
2. Faster shot time and a proper burst mode.
3. Proper image stability in video (LG's efforts in the past have not been up to snuff)
4. Minimum battery size of 3500mah.
There are a few other things I'd hope for such as the ditching of LG's specific suite of apps in favour of stock android options (like Google photos instead of LG's gallery for instance) and a firm commitment to keeping security up to date. May be asking a bit too much there I think though.
I just know that even with the market lead time, the G6 is still going to have a massive uphill battle on its hands against the likes of the S8, after last years 'failure' with the G5, LG really need to knock this one out of the park.

I am a normal user who really likes taking pics. All I need is RAW capture and the same camera edidting functionality on the G5. I have an GS6 (which I bought solely for the RAW capture mode and onboard editing capabilities) but in 17 months and four software updates the feature is still not available (it was active for two days after the lates update and then "poof!" having kept my GS3 for 6 years now I am a bit disappointed with Sammy at the moment) and I am seriously considering the G6 if only for the camera (unless someone buys me the Light L16) should I wait for the S8? Go for the G6? Or the new gen of Sony with the new camera chip?

Jimmy chow, 21 Feb 2017G4 & G5 had average cameras. They were nothing special,... moreG4 had better low light camera than s6. actually LG was first to bring some dedication to low light camera performance when they introduced f/1.8 on g4 which was Brightest by the time. So please get your facts correct
