20 February 2017
The app surfaced online earlier today and it uses the outline of a Galaxy S8 to show you how it works.

secure folder is nothing but renamed Samsung Knox (end user version) which has been in distribution for ages.

I guess most people never knew despite using samsung phones :P .

just go to play store and download samsung knox. you may need a few other things like knox container etc.

AnonD-10909, 21 Feb 2017its better than a NSA chip planted in iFruit products :DWhat NSA chip? All I know is that Google sells its users information for profit. The thing I don't understand is why it's users are so happy about it...

Wait! So is the top bezel thicker than the lower one in the S8? I thought it was going to be symmetric....

There are actually tons of sharp, crisp, completely straight and even fractal figures in nature, everywhere. Cactus flowers are a good start to research if you're interested - often these figures are also psychologically extremely intriguing to the human mind.

because it's easier on the eyes, looks more pleasant, why would You need a sharp corners? That's just unnatural for anything (nature = no straight lines or perfect corners)

Bezel-less screen, ok. But why rounded corners?? This cuts of pixels and is just not natural for a screen

Just wish to comment that Secure Folder app is already there on Nougat S7 (it's among installed packages), but it's disabled by default and cannot be enabled by the user. I imagine an update will enable it when it does go live.

Probably not rounded screen corners imo, probably just front view of the edge type screen. It would be ridiculous for Samsung to release this phone with rounded corners, the edge screen is already a tacky feature, Samsung become the giant it is in the phone market by releasing phones with great features, if the next note has round corner screen I guess I'll just keep using my galaxy note 3.

Samsung want to maximize profits as long as people like Android platform without taking any chance on some losses like before with Bada and earlier tizen versions. Yes it's too bad but Apple making so much money and market value so easily each year make any other manufacturer jealous.

Whenever I read "secure" about a Google Spyware device...I just get sad. I wish Samsung would push their Tizen lineup on the market.
