It's physically impossible. You probably misunderstand statistics. Your use case can hardly top 10% of your usage rate, it could hardly go for more (you'd have to keep the button pressed for a long time else).

AnonD-234961, 21 Feb 2017In my opinion, Samsung copied the LG screen rounded corners... moreDifferent implementations of always on display are there before LG used them: Motorola had it, Nexus 6p had it and Nokia's Glance. Coming to Samsung, S6E can show time and notifications alert on its edge screen for 12-hour period, though not same as Always-On kind of. So how can you really term that Samsung copied LG? G6 and S8 not yet released, but you are talking about Samsung copied LG? So as per you, Samsung started producing S8 just after LG released G6's render?

Looks beautiful but it would have been better if they kept the same screen size an decrease the overall size and make it much easier to use.I would want to wait and see if they have a mini version of this in 5.2 inch screen size.

AnonD-234961, 21 Feb 2017Very easy: not only Samsung starts their prototypes early, ... moreWell as if G6's rounded corners are greatest innovations to ever happen in smartphone history for Samsung to copy that. It's time to stop this copy drama. Did LG made the prototype in Samsung backyard, for Samsung to get to know LG's design philosophy first hand? Just for you, who brought multi-window feature and who copied(according to you)?

The hate on Samsung here is flipping marvelous and a sweet pleasure to laugh at. Samsung does something similar to others, people hate and call them copycats. Samsung does something different and some of you still hate.
I've got no problem with the location of the fingerprint scanner. The only time I will have a problem is when its location has been proven impractical.
Small bezels are no problem for me either. Matter of fact I like them. I've got more screen on a body that's just about compact. Bezels, waste of space. I'm gonna miss the home button but its removed for a good cause.
I just like the overall design and for those who say Samsung copied that from LG need to keep yo Weed joints shorter, you high. To the best of my knowledge LG has been always tryna catch up to Samsung (not on everything). If they have a similar design, yay!!! Its Korean companies after all

Onyxia, 21 Feb 2017Lol. Do you have proof Samsung know about LG G6 before? No,... moreI will definitely be giving this one a skip.
The problem is that phones are already a mature, finished product. There's nowhere for them to go, no new truly needed features to add, so these phones are all driven by the marketing department. All about generating buzz and catching the eye to keep sales from stagnating as much as possible.
Also allows them to hike prices. Consumers have been educated to pay more for bigger phones.

AnonD-642242, 21 Feb 2017Honestly I see a piece of Jewelry with very little practica... moreTo be quite frank, I have used the S7 edge for quite some time but I still don't get the advantage of the edge screen. In fact, it seems to make things worse by accidental palm touches and what not. Worst of all, this "edge" screen is highly susceptible to light leaks, a phenomenon in which you'll notice that the very edge of the screen is overbright and a lot of light seems to be deposited there. Of course this isn't very noticeable if you're looking at the screen frontally, but one sideways look and you'll see this white, bright band of light at the screen edges.
I completely agree with you - most major OEMs these days, not just samsung, are locked in an idiotic competition to make the flashiest looking phone. Normally I as a consumer wouldn't mind but the fact that this competition is sacrificing convenience for the sake of looks, is what makes me angry.

I would love to get it. As long as the 3000mAh rumor is wrong - no way I will pay over £700 for a phone with a 5.8 inch screen and only 3000mAh...
