Apple only claims it to survive underwater. Nothing more, nothing less. Typical Apple.

None of them said you can't use them underwater. The reason why I wanted to buy a waterproof device is because I want to impress my friends that I dropped my phone in the toilet and the phone is still 100% flawless

                  I think LG will have a winner with this one. Not because of the water and dust resistance, but the battery will have quite a good size for a flagship this small (3200+ mAh) and I suspect it will include a built-in polycarbonate screen protector, like the Moto X Force, which would be a great thing (even if not, the perfectly flat screen will be suitable for edge-to-edge screen protectors). That's because their released "survey" tells a lot about cracked screens, etc. So they have something in store about the screen durability, besides the Gorilla Glass thing.

                  So it will probably be a bullet-proof phone regarding durability. It remains to be seen whether the camera is improved (the G5 really is no match for the S7's camera) and whether the Snapdragon 821 will be optimized enough to provide good battery life, given that the 821 is a 14nm part while the upcoming 835 is a 10nm part.

                          And their next video will be : don't swim with the phone, bc we don't cover water damage. Just like sony/sammy and apple did.

                            Sony used to do ads like this.. Then ppl started abusing the water resistance.. And sony got rid of water resistance as a feature, even though the phones are technically still water resistant

                                    Its really good that they have finally discovered water resistance and also jumped the IP wagon, but they should be modest about it, they came after Sony, Samsung and Even Apple! Its not like they have invented the next best thing. Only HTC and the Chinese are behind them...
