Great news. My Z3C is literally falling apart (still works great though, apart from camera now and then), was thinking about Moto Z Play but was somewhat concerned about the mods future. Will deff buy it now. Kudos to lenovo for making modularity a thing... Unlike that pathetic LG attempt which brought the total of 2 mods and then scraped the whole thing.

So that means flagships from Motorla will keep 2017 and 2018 with almost the same design?

I would have bought the awesome projector mod if it was twice as bright and outputted 1080P video. This is the one flaw with all these dinky portable LED/Laser projectors, the Lumens are not lumeny enough, so no good for an impromptu meeting in a not so dark environment! And the resolution whilst ok for watching movies, is not suited to what most people who spend £750 on a phone and projector will want, presentations that include text.

The way the Moto mods work is genius and the mods are very well designed and of high quality.
