Android is open source which means the source code is available for anyone on the planet to examine it and modify it. With all those engineering eyes looking at the code then it is unlikely that there are any significant code-level optimizations that have been over looked. By code-level optimizations I mean things that can be changed in small blocks of code where slow algorithms are used or the code doesnt have good performance characteristics. If it is as bad as you said, it wouldnt be long since many years ago android would see a dip in sales; but they dont. Android still thrive in this world as much as IOS do.

Plus many (if not all) of the CPU/GPU intensive apps and games for Android are also written in C. For example anything that uses one of the popular 3D engines like Unity or the Unreal Engine will in fact be a native app and not a Java app. Lastly, large parts of Android including the Linux kernel are written in C and not Java.

                      As Mohdtaha60 said, it's size, camera placement, 4G logo, screen to body ratio/bezels around the screen and appearance of the aluminum frame top of screen are very identical to Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro (K920). (I have a Vibe Z2 Pro)

                          Three versions? What 5, 5.2 and 5.5"? Gone are the days of 4.5 and 4.7. :( I guess this will be without B20 and SD-slot as well.

My moto z play has other simple non gaming applications that take over 2gb of RAM from 3gb! I am left with 700mb free RAM mostly. The more free RAM, more faster it will run because this is android which is basically JAVA. Java is pretty nasty! I love C.
