LCDs also dim with age but as they use a backlight it is uniform across the entire display.

Performa... moreI don't trust the S7's hardware home button, it always lag especially after update/yearly and the Touch-wiz is bulky to make it even worsen. The S7 is back cover is very slippery, it must be wear a flip-case and this will be more girl looking.
The XZ is simply the best for all age with stylish design and sturdy/Metal build.

For me;
Performance: S7, Mi5, XZ.
Camera (Picture): (S7=XZ) > mi5. But I prefer XZ because it excellent quality is more stable and consume less battery when using night mode and flash than S7.
Camera (Video): XZ, S7, mi 5. XZ produce video with excellent quality same with S7 but S7 consume more battery to maintain high quality video than XZ.
4G LTE: mi5 > (XZ = S7). mi 5 (LTE Cat12) is very stable, super fast, low consume battery when it in unstable LTE and no heat!
Game: S7, mi5, XZ. No need to discuss, you know it too.
Battery: mi5, S7, XZ. No need to debate, or defend, this is fact baby! Just admit it and live in peace.
Music: XZ>S7>mi5 (No need to explain XZ audio quality and earphone performance)
I prefer S7 for extreme condition purpose/work+hardcore gaming, XZ for Camera and Music, mi5 for browsing, youtube, chatting, emailing, gaming (a little bit).
S7 just like sprinter (man), excellent performance in many aspect (almost all aspect) and it consume more battery to maintain excellent performance.
XZ just like jogging/jogger (woman), not so fast but very stable (quality), elegant and reliable.
mi5 just like bad kid, fast, energetic, and make you smile (low cost = high performance).

After a long time a good designed sony phone......to me, this phone looks much better designed than LG G6 or iphn 7+....... really interested about this phone. I hope sony will release this phone with atleast 3500mAh bettery and a 5.7" 2K screen.

Now... moreThe gap have to clean up ourselves, we can become a smart person to take care our smartphone to prolong it usage. My Xperia Z2 still waterproof after my almost 3 years usage, and for sure I had drop it many times in these year.

You've got some luck as well, damn! :D The curved edges first looked cool in my opinion, but I saw a S7 Edge live and it wasn't as cool as I thought. But I'm always up for a big screen in a small body-size with rounded edges so it fits my hands well. Sharp and too square edges I do not like at all.

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2017How many screens have you actually managed to break? Person... morewell i actually got my 1st smartphone last summer, and she is in a pretty strong case because of front and back glass, you can't be too careful you know?
Although my last Z5 that died of water (no worries Sony covered it, not my fault), fall from my hand as I was getting in a bus straight on the pavement side with her back glass.. i was pretty darn lucky.. nothing happened to her. The raised edges saved her, you know, the rough edges on Z5 that most complain about? Yeah these edges.
Anyway without any bezel, without some kind of protection on the glass (like Z5's bad bad edges) these new phones will be pretty sensitive. One drop and if the screen to body ratio is 85% for example, guess what are the adds for hitting on their screen.
And don't get me started on the so called s6 and s7 edge. Im tired of reading these "fix my screen" and "fix my screen" comments in facebook.
