Yes because Sony will produce their own display technology called "CLEDIS" or "Crystal LED Integrated Structure" which is superior to both worlds of AMOLED and LED. Once this technology goes to Xperia devices, Samsung will be the biggest loser in display technology since they manufactured too many Super AMOLED panels that are considerably inferior to CLEDIS (CLEDIS uses self-emitting micro-LEDs which mean it can provide just as deep blacks as AMOLED without the cost of resolution and color accuracy) and Sony will regain their title as the best display manufacturer in the world, the Xperia XZ is a symbol of it. Besides, Sony is also the pioneer of OLED back then, but they knew that this technology will go anywhere and it's bad to give people fake colors as only LEDs can give the most color accurate colors (which is now then replaced by CLEDIS). Indeed their prediction is true, not even 50% of smartphones today have OLED screens, and DisplayMate & GSMArena considering the S7 Edge to have the most color accurate display is just plain bs. I have seen the S7 Edge's display once and while it's great with vibrant colors and inky blacks, it's nowhere close to the color accuracy of an LED display like Mate 9, iPhone 7 Plus, Xperia XZ, V20, etc. To Samsung loyalties, whether you like it or not, by next year, Sony's integration of CLEDIS to Xperia devices will make Samsung's display industry fall down so easily. Mark my words if you won't believe it

Samsung produces so much Amoled that it is only in quantity, but not in quality. This is why they have to out do other manufacturers in mass production to gain an advantage in the market share.

Samsung has 100% AMOLED marketshare, as it's Samsung brand.
They probably mean OLED including POLED, JOLED.
