And especially Sami selfies. They definitely need to incorporate IOS and any other tech that can handle people in selfies moving tiny moves!

The one way Samsung could do to resolve this for me, and I suspect others, is to simply give us a choice. I\we will then make a valid informed decison for myself\ourselves. I just resent that we are treated like the stupid poor relation and not for the first time either. The Note 5 debacle was proof of that. Of course ultimately we always have the right to purchase from someone else and given that Samsung flagships are starting to trail behind now, as I see it at present, I may well do just that.

I, however, buy them at auction prices. The only phone I ever bought brand new and at full price (600 CAD) was the Galaxy S1 in 2010 :). I still have it and it still works. I used it for 4 years.
However, I know they're cutting corners and I don't like that they removed IR Blaster and removable battery, and now physical keys.
I do believe that Samsung flagship phones use high quality components though and cost more to make than One Plus 3T. Same with iPhones, they cost more to make. They're around 280 USD (a bit less). Now what may not seem fair to you is that they want a very high profit so they increase their price to 1000 from around 280. They make a lot of profit.
It's up to the company though and we can't control that :(.
I respect LG's pricing more though (not sure about G6 as I don't know how much it will cost).

What I see is, and I really don't think I am the only one, is that the real reason Samsung are only selling it with 4GB has nothing to do with performance or need. It is a cheapskate cost cutting exercise which I find utterly deplorable on a phone that costs around 1000 Euros when other phones with more RAM and of the same type are available for much less. Of course it is not all about RAM, but it is a clear indication of what the company are all about for European's. The stupid poor relations. Hence why the Note 5 was also not available in Europe.

Samsung advantage is just the super amoled. Irish scanner is just gimmick for me. Unlock the phone better with finggerprint sensor. Fast and safe...

As I said, if you are not happy with Samsung phones at 3GB or 4GB as they feel slow, then move away from Samsung because it's their software the problem, not the Ram. TouchWiz is smooth now, but I still feel it has problems.
LG's is even smoother and lighter and I like the extra tweaks they have more than Samsung's tweaks. Likewise HTC makes, or used to make, excellent software.
Go for Stock Android (boring but works well) if you want long lasting smoothness.
This has nothing to do with RAM. Because we have so much RAM available, it has become spec wars.

In contrast, the Samsung C9 Pro users LPDDR3. I do know the difference between LPDDR3 and 4. I am getting fed up of the "Defenders of Samsung at any cost" brigade trying to defend cheapskate cost cutting exercises by Samsung for what is meant to be a flagship phone which is just about one of the most expensive phones ever released to date. Then to cap it all it transpires there will be a 6 GB variant but not in Europe. So let me guess it is only a silly gimmick if you live in Europe!

Did you know that RAM also has its own speed?
There's cheap slow 2GB ram and there's super fast high quality 2GB ram.
There's cheap storage and super fast storage speeds.
You guys are falling for gimmicks as you don't know how computers and devices function.
