The AT&T Captivate finally getting the Froyo treatment

I am a sales rep from AT&T. Well this update came officially but ya thanks to the GENIUSES :) alot of people have updated their handsets. To be honest the bigger the company the slower the progress =p so its alright .. chk for da new updates coming in soon.. Moto Atrix is definitely a handy device to have with the lapdock n muktimedia dock. cheers ya'all..

That's right! I've been with 2.2.1 on my captivate for quite a long time now... Thanks to all of those hackers who want to take out the juice of their devices! Cheers for them and their on-time-free updates!

I agree. I've been on Froyo for a long time now with all the custom ROMs from xda.

who cares.. if you are using a captivate you should be running alternate 2.2.1 rom anyway.. out for a long time from docs kitchen and others.. otherwise you are subject to att's damn throttling of upload speeds.
