Motorola on My Moto Z had tremendous battery life on Marshmallow which has gone down in Nougat and has also bought in many more bugs
In short its to say the every manufacturer has their own flaws

So yeah, they are slow, also their update sucks, the phone is laggier than before after updating, even after a factory reset. Moto software runs blazing fast and super responsive.

Reason Being Motorola UI is close to stock and it does not need much work
But Samsung's touch wiz ui needs a lot of work before it can be updated
