AnonD-632062, 27 Feb 2017Isn't that EXACTLY what I said?! QHD screen automatically m... moreYeah, just saw it ... sorry. Still a minor correction, 16:10 is better as it can also used in portrait mode in tablets too (16:9 is too tall for that) yest still watch movies with minor inconvenience. Funny thing is Tab S1 had that and then downgraded in Tab S2 ... what a move :o

Anonymous, 27 Feb 20174:3 actually makes it far from ideal for media consumption.... moreIsn't that EXACTLY what I said?! QHD screen automatically means a 16:9 ratio. I don't think you read my comment properly.

AnonD-632062, 26 Feb 2017Yeah, agreed! With each passing leak, the Tab S3 gets more ... more4:3 actually makes it far from ideal for media consumption. Why would anyone buy a tablet where you lose half the screen estate when you try to watch a movie or youtube video. Why Samsung doesn't use 3:2 or 16:10 is beyond me. There is nothing good about 4:3 (both of the above can be used in portrait mode too, so...)

AnonD-234645, 26 Feb 2017Bruh, keep dreaming. It's never the 8895/8890/Sd835. Tablet... moreNeither support Vulkan... So it's getting at least the 8890.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2017So the only big difference between the tab s2 and tab s3 is... moreThe S pen is a pretty big addition IMHO.
Add USB C charging, pogo pins & the 6 mm thickness and it's a pretty sweet tablet.
Might not be worth it for S2 owners though...

What a lovely tablet,
-BIg beauty S AMOLED screen
-HDR Support
-S-Pen
-Vulkan API
-Quad stereo speakers tuned by AKG
-And only 6mm thick
That's why i'm gonna get it, this tablet is perfect for productivity, playing a game, and multi media, i've tried a Snapdragon version of the Tab S2 and it's pretty smooth.

So the only big difference between the tab s2 and tab s3 is the camra. I dont think this is worth an upgrade from my tab s2.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2017Android tablets are great when done right. Just check Xperi... moreAfaik SD820 is Quadcore and the article mentions 8 of these. Either they will use TWO SD820, or it's a completely different chipset.
But on the other stuff you said. I greatly agree with you.

AnonD-558092, 25 Feb 2017Exynos 8895? SD835? Exynos 8420? SD 653? Who knows?Bruh, keep dreaming. It's never the 8895/8890/Sd835. Tablets NEVER use flagship chipsets if they are new (unless it's #Apple) my guess it's the 7420 or SD653

karim salah, 25 Feb 2017Android tablet+samsung+ 6000 ma battery only = failrueAndroid tablets are great when done right. Just check Xperia Z4 tablet. As always Samsung fails majorly, but that's because she ignores the media crowd (the black bars are incredible at 4:3 aspect ratio)
I would give everything for a 3:2, 2560x1700 tablet with 7000 mah battery, 6GB of RAM and SD835 @ less than 1lb (all possible in this day and age). Not only it would run probably faster than ipads (due to loads of ram), it would catch up to Microsoft in many features as you can run full Linux on top (for desktop replacement) via apps like LinuxDeploy.
Instead we get this Samsung which is incredibly bad. 4:3, 6000 mah battery, 4GB ram , SD820 ... 2016 knocks, and wants its specs back. It's too bad, Samsung used to lead in Android tablets (just check Note 10.1 2014's specs, which were best of the best for that era).
