26 February 2017
Not everyone will get that wireless charging coil - it has US-only stamped on it (not literally).

with this advanced heat pipe, lg wants to heat the whole phone fairly at 70c after 10mn use. unlike PREVIOUS lg phones heat a spot at 100c after 5mn use. be happy to heat up your coffee instantly!

Nokian, 26 Feb 2017Double standards. eh? They all think North American market ... moreall my phones are removable battery (galaxy s2, galaxy note 4, xiaomi redmi note) or with huge battery oukitel k10000. love all of them because every single 1 of my phone still survive and act as back up phone because of the removable battery. my note 4 is holding up pretty well and i dont see a point in upgrade. oukitel doesnt overheat mainly because mediatek chip is for low power consumption and the phone is for normal daily usage only not for hardcore gaming. I bought that phone for my parent because they cant stand charging their phone every single day. oukitel by just leaving on standby (no wifi and 2g) has a battery life or almost 2 months in my case. good news is that oukitel is going to launch oukitel k10000 pro on March which is 2 days later with a better chip and lighter weight but with same battery capaciity. gotta love the battery :)

Nokian, 26 Feb 2017Double standards. eh? They all think North American market ... moreIts all about head per capita. The more people the more likely it will sell there. Unfortunately like australia we are governed by the telecommunications service providers and as such if you dont like what they offer because all they off is the main stream stuff then you go import.

I myself have been using a note 2 recently retired which had a 9300mah battery and worked fine, a swift upgrade to an s5 and now im doing the same getting anothwr zerolemon and away i go again.

Its a shame that other developed markets have to put up with only what they the service providers give us but in growing markets like india etc they are thrown handsets at ridiculously cheaper prices.

''Advanced heat pipe'' is quite small ... there are other brands with better implementations of cooling system in their phones and they don't brag about it like LG .

Double standards. eh? They all think North American market is like the prime hub for all smartphones. Well actually, it is not. It is the carriers who decide which smartphone they should bring into their arena. They all screw users by locking them into contract with new smartphones. Speaking of the land of free, You can't get a lot of new unlocked cell phones there without yourselves locking into their contract. The Asus Zenfone 3 zoom is the other one I heard, is not going to come till the Q2 as they are going for better specs aimed towards the North American market. Things are simple. You build a best smartphone, you get the best from the market. Be it all praises, fame or profit. Xiaomi Mi mix is the best example. The phone that was launched for china got all the attention. Exploding batteries and design failures is the next. They claim it is all design failure and some claim it is the battery. They can't even manage to build a 3200mah battery in a smartphone by strict QA and validation procedures. All you hear after the accident is apologies. One of peers is using a chinese phone Oukitel K10000. It has got a monster 10000mah battery and he has been using it for about 1.5 years. Not a single issue he has with the battery or over heating as such. A smart phone maker with cheap phone holding 10000 mah battery tells you how they take care of those batteries better.
