I guess I'm keeping my Asus Zenpad 3S Z500M. It's at least 2/3 the power of this, for almost the same spec, but it only cost me £249.

I was expecting it to be £399, but at £599 and not even a SnapDragon 821?!

AnonD-625786, 26 Feb 2017750 USD? LOL Samsung has lost it.I doubt its going to be $750. In the UK it's always more expensive. They're going to match it with the iPad at $600 I'm sure.

And the second sentence in the article: "Yet the tablet market sinked 6.6% YoY so it's mostly bad news for everyone."

My tab s2 8" was about £359 i think, brand new with 4g in board....what is the massive price hike for? Isnt it only a slight upgrade? 4gb instead of 3gb SD820 instead of average exynos from last year? Spen surely doesnt justify it....

That's a whopping £200/50% price increase over the present £399 price for the S2 at John Lewis, who's going to pay that for an Android tablet when you can now even get an Ipad Pro Air for less!

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2017Because tablets have been "flying off the shelves" recently... moreThey do, it's the most selling type of computer (more units than laptops). But not at this price and espec not with last year's specs.

Xperia Z4 tablet from 2015 is still a better tablet and that says a lot. Shame on Samsung..
