    Would've been an absolute beast if it came with Thunderbolt 3 (Razer Core anyone?). But still, AMOLED HDR display is still pretty darn impressive.

      Great device but a few things to add to make it better usable device for both work and personal, if device spec with internal memory space: 1TB,RAM: 6 or 8GB RAM, CPU i5 or i7 etc. cheers

In my eyes they are bad tablets (too heavy, relatively low battery, not very touch friendly apps) and bad laptops (bad keyboards, small screen for productivity, again relatively small battery for an ultrabook, low amount of ports).

        To me something like the Dell XPS 13 is muuuuuch better laptop and an iPad a muuuuuch better tabet (espec if the rumours for the 10.5 model turn out to be true).

        2in1s are a compromise of the bad kind ... one where you sacrifice key functionalities ...

          An important feature is the screen's 3:2 aspect ratio. For 16:10 holdouts with 12" laptops not wanting to go to a 16:9 laptop, this joins the MS Surface (also 3:2) as a good upgrade, but at a better price. And the keyboard sounds better, though I'm not clear on whether it's stiff enough to be truly "lappable".

          I have a Lenovo X201 12.1" laptop. I haven't found a 16:9 laptop I'd be willing to replace it with -- those that are narrow enough have screens that are not tall enough, and those that have screens that are tall enough are too wide. I often meet clients at coffeehouses with tiny tables, and a wide laptop would mean having to keep it in my lap during the meeting, which is awkward. I also often use it on a crowded bus, and anything wider than about 12" gets in everyone's way.

          For a small laptop, 3:2 is much more useful than 16:9. 3:2 equates to about 16:10.67, so given the same screen width, a 3:2 screen is even taller than a 16:10 screen. We need more 3:2 screens in small laptops!

            The question is whether the amoled screen flickers (for dimming). If it does, then this will not be suitable for a mobile office, but rather casual content consumption and doodling

              They are trying to solve a very real issue for some users.
              For a person with experience using both tablets and laptops, both miss some of what the other offers.
              The tablet is much nicer to use in bed, or in the sofa while hatching tv (as it can be held up.
              On the other hand, as soon as I want to write something as long as a full scentens or more, I want a keyboard. Sure, if there was a way to have to machines to be in sync and having a laptop at hand, just open it and start typing away, that could work, but it would be more expensive. And not really pratical for on the go use.

              But I do have an issue with the keyboard of the Galaxy Book and Surface series, as the keyboard can't self support the screen at an angle.
              Typing in the lap doesn't feel right. And that makes is much less good as a compromise between laptop and tablet, as it will still miss out on a lot of scenarios where the laptop has the upper hand.

              Screen supporting keyboard, with ability to attach the screen the other way around for notation or as a deskstand (great for use with for example a better typing experience keyboard) would make the Galaxy books and Surface much more interesting to me.
