Inventory clearance. But why would one buy this now, and on a 2-year lease/contract? 1 year is already gone for its longevity and software updates. You will still be paying for this phone when it is no longer supported.
Still, the goodies are nice though. But I would wait for the S8 to be released so the price of this one will be reduced further.

Note7 owner, 28 Feb 2017Buy one and get two free would have been a better deal for ... more??? Outdated how so? S8 has 4gig ram, SD835 or Exynos 8895 and a 5.8-6.2 inch screen. The Sd chip is rumoured to be 25% more powerful than that in S7 edge. Oh and you get some AKG headphones for your $1000.
When the S8 is announced the S7edge will probably drop by half in price, But the S7 edge isn't pouch different to S8 really and has a bigger battery!

I hate carriers. Same offer on an unlocked phone would have been better.
