Me, 03 Mar 2017820 two year old? It is from 2016. Yes it is form 2016 is released in April that year, and made in 2015 same like 835 is made in 2016. It is very old to be priced that much.

With G6 you can't, that's the point. 2800 MaH of G5 turns to 5600 MaH when caring a spare. 3300 MaH of G6 is fixed, drives a bigger screen and once the lithium cells start burning out hard to replace. If you care about battery life you always buy the smaller swappable one, always.
Unless the fixed battery is something crazy like 5000 mah , in every other case the ability to carry a spare and having instant 100% due to it wins.

Okay so the G5 came out in Canada for a cool $850 outright. If this thing comes out at $1000cdn I think I will wait for v30. I like what LG has done with their G6 but I think I may hold onto G5 until G6 price drops by a couple hundred cdn or see what the v30 offers. Ughs.

I understand that LG want to get as much money in as possible before the S8 comes out and interest peters out but that price is ridiculous; aside from the fact that different regions get different hardware. There's plenty more fish in the sea LG. No AMOLED, no Quad DAC, no wireless charging, no thanks.

i don't like that device (for it's weak battery, even though it's swapable) but you can buy 2 of those for one G6, which is insane since G6 is not that much better device (except it looks).
i mean, with new prices of G5, S7Edge P9 and Xperia XZ, even Oneplus is in problems (so now finally they have devices available immediately for shipping), and those new devices will have even more problems, since except it looks (bigger screens, smaller bazels), there are no big improvement in HW or in SW.
same goes not only for LG, but for others too...i don't see any reason to buy P10 over P9, or why would i give more than 850€ for S8, when S7 would do the same.
we are now coming in era of a phones, same as with's PC....we will buy new ones, once that old-ones is dead....since 2 year old device is more than capable for everyday tasks.

There is no better device than this on market now... Just look at Google Pixel, it has same SoC..and, hey it even cost more, but it's price is OK!?
