I would never have Samsung without produced something this in it but when I saw this phone I felt underwhelming feelings of paranoia and disgust. Next time Samsung try to introduce something more Innovative and creative but if you insist on doing the same thing again you would have lost a great chunk of the market.

for comparison this is what's on GSMarena for the dimensions:
S7 Edge = 150.9 x 72.6 x 7.7 mm (5.94 x 2.86 x 0.30 in) ...........Screen size = 5.5"
S8 = 140.1 x 72.2 x 7.3 mm (5.52 x 2.84 x 0.29 in) .......................Screen Size = 5.8"
Putting that aside there is one issue with the S8 Series that I'm upset about; why is the only difference between S8 and S8+ the display size? The display is already big enough and the phone has improved power efficiency with quick charge 4 ....So why would I buy an S8+ over an S8? ... I'll believe that Samsung did something stupid until they can show me otherwise @ 29/3/2017.

I was Nokia person, as most of us, back in the days. Got iphone 3g as it came out, which was above anything what mobile phone could offer at that time. And finally decided to move to Android once I realized I did not wanted to be told what I need in my smartphone by Apple. My first Android phone was Sony-Ericsson Xperia Play, I liked idea to have physical controls while playing video games, but as the phone was horrible choice. Sony-Ericsson was behind by hardware and memory capacity than competitors and to put 200MB as internal memory was most stupid thing phone manufacturer could do. Phone was rendered useless after 1 year of usage, if you wanted to update apps, which was happening almost every day i was running out of space in no time, most of the apps required internal memory to store them and only games you could move to sd cards. So I decided to choose my next smartphone as best as possible. After extensive search and reading dozens of reviews at GSM Arena I finaly chose galaxy S4. Never like Samsung as brand, it associated to me as to cheap quality products, but oh boy I was wrong, it was ahead of any smartphone by functionality and quality . Same happen when time came to upgrade my S4 after two years of usage. Again there was no competition regarding S6, when my most friends was crying about their overheating flagships I was just laughing and waving my trusty S6. Well, here time to upgrade again and I believe S8 will do what it did best in the past, demolish competition :)

it looks awesome.. but i have a feeling like if they was makeing this phone in a body of a 5 inch display phone.. they was able to sell more then this actual version..

At least one sibling should be with tipical GALAXY S 5.2"-5.5" in size because many customers likes medium size phone which can easily handle with one palm. Other one can be phablet size whatever they want.
5.7" may b big for those persons who like small size phones

To all those wise ass people whom say they would pick sony or lg or whatever over S8 and S8+, please try to understand that beginning with the original Galaxy S GT-I9000 up until now Samsung flagships, specially the Note class have been always a neck and shoulders above the competition and thats a proved fact and not a theory, just look at all the reviews from GSMARENA or PHONEARENA or whichever site you prefer reading.

I never prefer my iPhone to watch a movie or a video and always go to my S6E for that purposes. Because that screen looks more bright and colorful than the iPhone. I can say the same for iPhone 7 and S7E's screens.
