When a third-party add-on does not work well with a first-party device, it is a third-party problem, not a first-party problem.

The PigSkin (TM) is just not good enough, and BabySkin (TM) is so last generation. And YeOldSkin... It's a real joke. Especially the latest "112Years OldSkin(TM)".

Doesn't it means that by time and daily use the coating will be damaged soon? If that's the case, i'd prefer put on a skin and not removing it anyway. The skin makers should just tell their customers about the damage caused by removing the skin is their own responsibility.

If you think this is just a "skin problem", think again... just wait for what the "test of time" will do to it. (hint: it will be harsher than any skin)

Its customer liability to put or not to put the skin. Its more of the skin manufacturer responsibility to tell customer that it doesnt work well with Nintendo Switch.

Jimbob, 05 Mar 2017Why didnt they tell Nintendo about this?!The warning is pretty much a way of telling Nintendo. Dbrand only received a pre-production units anyway.

Since Dbrand was given a testing unit, I believe it is fair to assume that negotiations of sort went thru. It just did not work out in the end.

I say hats off to Dbrand for this move.

There's nothing wrong with the Nintendo Switch. The paint will only peel off if they put an adhesive - which many people wouldn't do. Other than that, it functions properly.
