India is fastest growing mobile market and second surpassing US. 1 MWC for China which represents West Asia, and India is both most technically advanced and biggest mobile market of Middle East so 1 MWC for India. And one for Europe and other western countries. One may ask why US included in "other" category, so because they don't deserve separate MWC because 50% of phones sold there are fruit phones and they line up to get one.

BREAKING NEWS: Nokia is the MOST TALKED BRAND in MWC 2017 Barcelona. It was mentioned more than LG, Sony and Huawei combined according to BrandWatch.

Nokia will again steal the show at MWC 2017 India.

[deleted post]For your information, we didn't steal Hollywood, we have our own ORIGINAL bollywood bigger than Hollywood. And if you hate it so much than why are you staying here and eating our goods. Just go away.

AnonD-472839, 07 Mar 2017Why anyone buy lumia for just nokia At that time android c... moreBrand Reputation is another thing that you mentioned.

When you say Indian people have at least one NOKIA at home, A feature phone from Nokia which has no app at all is slightly pricier than a Lumia 520 which has at least some essential apps for today use.

If Indian people know the Phone mostly by Nokia Branding, They must support what is inside of it, regardless of what is useful or not.

For a person(more than 60 percent of mobile phone users globally) who do their simple task, Call, Messaging, Social (Facebook, Twitter, Telegram, WhatsApp, Line, etc.), Lumia 820 is enough.

So, People liked features inside Nokia, and when features limited to their eco system, naturally switched to another platform.

If you want to upload your High quality images from your 2010 DSLR to Instagram, shortly after taking shots, What would you do?

                  Use a Laptop/Mac Book?
                  Use your iPhone/iPad?
                  or
Use a small converter for OTG, and use your Android smartphone?

Software rules the world. Features are mostly software side than hardware side.
If a proper app was not available to record movies in 2160p, What sensor itself could do this?

This is good news. But I think its better for Indian people if they can get access to latest technology at the cheaper rates. I was told that there are hefty charges/import duties there, which increase the prices. Hence, Indians cannot afford the latest they are forced to buy outdated tech which leads to poor productivity. My view of technology (such as PC, Laptops, processors, RAM, etc ) is that they are tools of creating business, and as a country India needs to encourage its people to do business using technology. And that to happen the prices of latest tech should be brought down, so that more startup companies can afford them.

I think GSMArena should correct some parts of the article. India is not part Southeast Asia.
It is actually in South Asia.

Anyways, India is the right place for MWC.

Can't wait for the Nokia flagship!
