1. The phone is far too tall
2. The easy shatter glass front and back is still there (see ebay for s6 and s7 for how many of them have broken screens front & back)
3. The screen size and ratio to size is not really a revolution
4. Moved away from 16:9, that was a reall bad idea
5. No front facing speakers on bottom bar
6. Putting this thing in a case makes it look just as bad as all the rest

Everybody cares about Samsung especially if it explodes again. Samsung might not have a boring design but that UGLY S8 renders is much worse than a boring design.

I do not see any real benefit from the double-curved screen mobile phone other than the visual attractiveness that now that all insist on it no real basis actually works more like a desperate search space for sale on the market.
HTC, LG and Huawei have had a better, more realistic and more advanced ideas that Apple and Motorola killed with mass production and by none other than good advertising

Fingerprint sensor place sucks. No branding on the front sucks too. The top and bottom sides look curved and that also sucks. No home button on the front sucks. Samsung sucks! This phone looks ugly and hurt my eyes the moment I see it. S7/S7 Edge is much better in terms of design.

M33, 06 Mar 2017Ugliest phone in S series, even Galaxy S5 is more beautiful!Mi Mix stole all the thunder of a thin bezel phone, and LG G6 was able to first show off the current look of the galaxy S8 first (minus the crappy dual edge). So yeah, in terms of looks, Samsung has lost the race.
