Of course we all know that 15 million Ipads weres sold on spin. It dosent matter how many ads you run if people dont like something they dont like it.
The reason the Iphone sell millions upon millions is because of word of mouth and being an object that people find attractive it does not matter that the Android or anyone could run rings round them spec wise only people in these forums care about that. I dont understand why people dont understand that.

Nobody ever mentions or even alludes to know that Apple make these products in factories that only make Apple products; they are configured to work as one intergrated and functional product. if you open up any other tablet i'd bet you find Samsung or Matsui/Hitach printed on the chips that make the product work. Generally speaking ALL other phones/computers/tablets are designed with generic ICs and therefore unlikely to behave as reliably with regards to intergration with other hardware and software, that is what you pay for. I Just wish i could afford one of each! There is nothing wrong with non Apple products; other manufactures do get it right, just not as right as APPLE INMHO

I can do word/excel/powerpoint on this thing, even record song's arrangement and playing my guitar through it. Just remember, not everybody is a gadget-freak.. Take a look around, you'll understand why a little boy or a grandpa using iPad everywhre.
But I guess gadget-freak never came out the room so often huh?!

Heaven forbid you're not an average Joe and actually try do do something productive on it, and you'll run against limitations real quick.

When it comes to Apple it is all about SPIN, the only way they sell so much stuff is because they spend more than anyone else on marketing.
Jobs recently made the comment thay other tablet makers are struggling to make products cheaper than his. Does anyone really believe this rubbish? Apple's pads are 4 or 5 tims the price of the cheaper Androids.
It was always the same with computers...nothing changes!

I think the point is being missed as to why Apple are a sucess with Ipad.
If i was to buy an Android tablet today what would i put on it. The apps in the Android store most of them wont fit and look right on the tablet. Yes i could read books but in the end it will just come down to me checking emails and watching youtube clips. At the momement Google are working on that but how long will that take? most review of Honeycombe have been good but alot of people have said it just dosent have that sense of pick it up and you know how to use feel about it.
Yep so it would appear that Apple maybe have just thought about there walled garden pick up the tablet and guess what you dont have to be a tech nerd or geek like me to know how to use it. The App store sign hits you right in the eyes and yes even i have to say compare to trailing through Android market its guess what easy oh yes and dis someone say they is 65,000 apps all tablet ready oh and all of them are tried out so most of the time not all you wont spend your time wondering why this game wont open. In fact it is so simply that your Gran could pick it up understand it, now hand your Gran and Android tablet and see what she will do. I not saying that Apple are the best but the ease of use and actually content provided for the tablet is there. Everyone keeps jumping up and down about Dual core on Android phones so your phone can go faster i like to say yea so what where is the content that is going to push these phones oh yea its not there yet so i guess it will just be the geeks and nerds having a fight about phone without Dual core is crap. Android tablets for the moment are like a Ferrari that you can only drive at 50mph

When it comes to tablets, it's not about the specs.. It's about user experience. It's about the way we use the device and how the device fits itself to the way we want to use it.. That's why Apple products always win the consumer's heart :)

I don't understand why people get so worked up about Apple / Samsung / etc or what the iPad can or can't do.
If you buy whatever tablet, surely you'll do your research before you part with your hard earned cash and know what you are getting. I bought a iPad about 6 months ago and to be honest it does have it's flaws but I knew that when I bought it.
I work in the construction industry and attend numerous meetings, thus take minutes and / or record meetings using my iPad, if we need to look at drawings I can open them up. In addition, I like that it is on instantly, easy access to the internet (3G & wifi), email, loads of apps, easy to use. My kids love it as well.
The iPad might not be everybodies cup of tea or be perfect but it neither are any of its competitors.

netbook is far much more pr,actical than ipad 2

of course it's an improvement...they never got it right to begin with...mono sound?
not to mention the screen is the same (which is weaker than iphone4). not a single world on memory either, so assuming it's the same.

The only people hating this phone are the tech geeks. I am a tech geek myself but you have to understand a majority of people are not. They will love this phone. iPad 2 will sell like hotcakes because everything about it is an improvement over the original. Apple did it again.
