Also phones with dt2w original feature uses a special low power core to limit battery life, rooted phones use kernel modification but still it's power hungry, and the app you're mentioned keeps the CPU on the whole time. So it should show different battery life in different phones.

AnonD-92238, 08 Mar 2017That's a battery hogIn fact it's not. At least not on my phone. It says 2% in battery usage.
The biggest battery hog on every android phone out there is PlayStore and PlayServices, whuch even on a rooted phone and greenified they still run in the background.
Im actually thinking about deleting everything named Google including PlayStore.
                  Anyone has a good alternative?

The "universal gesture" is something, which every no-name cheap Chinese $50 smartphone comes with for several years. Looks like Google are out of ideas and they keep copying custom ROMs feature for each new Android version

AnonD-25255, 08 Mar 2017First!!! I bet it will be Oreo...No. Google ditch naming their android version after another brand. We thought android M was M&M, android N was Nutella, but it never happened. So, Oreo will never happened. I'm betting on android Opera; its a french cake and looks nice too. Orange Marmalade goods too.

I wonder what will they name it after they release the Z version.

Anyway, most of the brands out there are barely catching up with nougat cough, cough, samsung, cough..

By the way, moat of the so called new features are old school versions of what people with rooted phones have for years..

I see people so obsessed with the double tap feature. I don't even have to touch my phone to turn the display on with gravity screen app from PlayStore. Best app ever! And you don't need root for it.
