There is a thread on mi forum for the same. It even gives download link for all installer just touch it select yes and follow instructions. Shouldn't take more than a minute really

The Mix is a good phone but has an average camera and LCD screens are average after using SAMOLED for years (a dark area 10x5mm meant i returned it). Fix those two things and Mi has a really good phone.
I followed several guides on the web and it still took ages to get google play and all apps installed. It should be a simple matter of choosing Mi store or google play when you start up... just like you select your language.

Simply beauty, wonderful speaker performance, smooth and high class design, shame that camera performance is not good enough for the price.

I don't see anything special in this phone. In fact it's ugly to me and I'd never get it for myself, just MY opinion.

I had both the Note 7 (couple of months) and the Mi Mix (couple of weeks) and was getting similar battery life times. GSMarena battery tests show the same thing. Sure it has a bigger battery but the screen is also bigger. The Samsung power saving options are better.
I returned the Mi Mix because of a burned area on the LCD screen. Good phone but poor camera and LCD doesn't come close to SAMOLED screens. Plus trying to get google play and google apps installed was a nightmare.

It wasn't a new concept, it was just bleedingly obvious given the technology.

What the iPhone 2G can do, the Dell Axim X30 can do (with the exception of going onto the internet), and that's 3 years older. Yes, it may not have the technology the iPhone 2G have, but you are playing the copycat game.

Samsung doesn't seem to learn, they're going to equip their 5.8 inch phone with 3000 battery, why would anyone pay top dollar for that?

If you want good speaker, don't wait up, buy this. We're not even sure that Mi Mix 2 would match that quality (they may cut corners).
