Then how does it output 89 Mtps ???
An SGX clocked @ 200 MHz can output only 20 to 28 Mtps MAXIMUM.

I'm saying either samsung has it @ 600 MHz or has multiple cores (atleast 3). But the latter one is impossible as it still only appears to have single-channel memory controller support.
Lack of education ??? Then what about u who says that galaxy S has just 100Mhz GPU clock speed yet outputs 89 MT/s ??

most sources say 600 mhz. although it may not be that high, it has to be more than 200 mhz.

Gerr, 05 Mar 2011Hhahaha funny vid, people start bashing the xperia play, gr... moreDesire S and Z and... have Adreno 205 GPU and very many phones have Adreno 205 GPU so Play can not play anyting more than most ordinary new smartphones, and for a dedicated game-phone it is stupid to not have at least GeForce GPU, Tegra 2 chipset. Play will cost as much as Galaxy S2, and that is too much, and Pro can probably use some of the keys on its keyboard to play the same games as Play so the gamepad is pointless and can only be used for gaming but the Pro keyboard can be used for more than just gaming.
Play cost as much as Galaxy S2 so buyers should expect it to have dual-core and GeForce GPU, not just Adreno 205.

Hhahaha funny vid, people start bashing the xperia play, graphics shouldn't be that much different (Xperia play's adreno 205 processor reaches 60 fps as well) the other thing is the nvidia tegra chip does over 70 fps in benchmarks so 60 isn't even that special and also the last few seconds listen to what the guy says 'And i'm playing this on a regular ps3 controller' hmmm I think there should be a phone out with playstation controls or am I wrong?... :P

Texas Instrume... moreThe exynos chip uses ddr3 memory and the Mali 400MP graphics are far superior to the TI OMAP4 PowerVR SGX 540 graphics. If they have the same performance that which used in the ST-Ericsson U8500 they can performe 190 millions of polygons but there is who speak in 320 millions of polygons. And the graphics of the original Galaxy S are at 200MHz frequency.

Texas Instruments have toned up the SGX 540 GPU in their OMAP 4 processor. In galaxy s it used to run at 100 mhz but in OMAP 4 it runs at 200 mhz which makes it's performance 4 times the galaxy s. Morover TI has used dual memory channels in their OMAP 4 processor as compared to single memory channel used by samsung which further doubles the performance of SGX 540 in OMAP 4 processor. Cache memory used by TI is also double of what samsung used . So, with these improvements OMAP 4 beats down the Exynos processor.

Samsung is all about showing their muscles to the world. I'm sure a lot of companies have also some very impressive features but they don't make a big fuss of it.
Samsung keeps advertising for everything! Their sales, features, bla bla bla, it just shows how insecure they really are. On the other hand, look at Sony it's rarely that they advertise for something yet they have a very huge fan base.
Grow up samsung, I'm seriously fed up with all this insecure thing! What makes it worse are the fans, total fools who keeps clapping for everything samsung does, even if it's useless.

You see. GalaxyS render 1.000M pixels/s. Mali 400 with 4 core, it can do 3.200M pixels/s. But with first test, core of Galaxys2 is lower than GalaxyS. Yes cpu Exynos 4210 just done in last year. ARM will complete driver for Mali GPU. You know Tegra use basic of ARM?.

TI OMAP 4430 is with PowerVR SGX540 inside !!! PowerVR SGX540 is 1 yaer old GPU and is used in Galaxy S. PowerVR SGX540 is at least 4 times less powerfull than Mali-400 graphics used in Samsung Galaxy S2(Exynos 4210).
Thes test that you show us is made with beta software and beta drivers for this GPU.
Without goods drivers every hardware is nothing.
