AnonD-482637, 10 Mar 2017Wooah, amazing, mobile chipset changes die size every year.... moreIt's not equivalent. Mostly marketing. Intel's entire chip is created with that process while mobile only do parts. You should look it up.

snapdragon and samsung exynos can do that too and much better but for now they can't :)

All that is good for progress, but please Mediatec, you are stuck at 28nm for entry level socs, its been like 4 years now.. c'mon move to 16/10 for entry level already.

X25 actually quite powerfull, they just need better GPU to compete with snapdragon, because mostly people just look for games benchmark to determine the best chipset.
X30 will acknowledge for its performace if it can match adreno 540 along with Sd835

But I don't get the urgency towards the number of cores. I understand it can hav great benefits if it's implemented well. I just feel we are a long long way from getting there & for now that many cores is not that relevant....

If 4 powerful, 4 middle, 4 low core combined with powerful GPU, I'll definitely order them for my next M14th flagship.
