20k? 40k? Guys, I love GSMArena but that tone for such sales wasn't called for. Those are tiny sales. Chinese manufactuters rake preorders of hundreds of thousands units on value products. Samsung sells millions on launch days. We're talking Samsung selling hundreds of times that amount. They don't see the G6 as competition even, the video was simply made to make people start saving up and preparing to shell money on their new phones once they come out. The S8 has no direct competition, as the S8, just as the previous S series phones will severely outsell all other flagship Android phones combined, and G6 sales are a rounding error in Samsung's finances. The S8 competes with the iPhone crowd, to make them switch to Samsung or to prevent other people from switching to iPhone. Also, to make people upgrade from mid-range to flagship, thus the A series this year being perceivably lower range in design, with less similarity to the S8 and its tiny bezels.

I don't know how but suddenly the g6 looks a lot better compared to this, maybe it's the endless holes on top maybe it's the weird fingerprint position and maybe it's the stupidly small bezels underneath the display that would make it slippery as f specially since this is a tall phone but it just seems a bit weird to me in different aspects compared to the g6 even the weird aspect ratio that no one but Samsung can adopt in the future that's if they supported the 18:9 to begin with lol
