Late April? for that price? No Wireless charging nor Dac capibilities for the European model?No Daydream VR compatible? With that gorgeous fullvision display!? In 2017!? LG you are risking yourself to a new big failure... I rather go with the S8 ... They will be launched virtually on the same date. Another poor decision LG!!!!! I can't say it enough.I just hope Samsung does this right with the battery issues found with the...You know whom... :) Big expectations ! Insane price for something that doesn't really bring a whole lot of new to the table, same with all flagship makers. Especially during a quite unstable economical situation.
Hope companies like OnePlus keep their phones below 500€ with great offerings to eat pieces from the pie.

Just like Porsche only makes rehashed beetles and has mastered the art of charging more for less. Toyota buyers get to choose from pickups, suvs, compacts, sedans, etc, depending on their need. And tuning? You do realize that REAL car tuning happens under the hood where you can't see it (not that you can actually tune your iPhone as compared to a Porsche). You clearly haven't grasped the concept of "owning" a device, let alone an Android phone. There is NO NEED to install launchers or other 3rd party software but Android users CAN if they choose to. Try googling buzz launcher and KLWP then tell me again how those themes look cheap.

I then got an android phone, installed emulators, rooted it and overclocked it.
That's how I knew I wouldn't be getting an iPhone.

I am advocate of free choice therefore I will most probably never buy an Apple product. As a side effect of not being able to control IoS in any meaningful manner when something does go wrong you have little way of fixing it for yourself.

that is a stupid move on LG. knowing S8 is coming out soon after it they should make it cheaper so to grab more sales. LG knows this phone is a lower end phone than S8 for a difference of 50 everyone would get the Samsung.

It's better to go for the P10, which costs €150 less than the G6. It also doesn't have an ugly design.

[deleted post]WTH you sound like complaining is a bad thing. I mean the phone is still okay, but who wants that for $800? Seriously, $400 to $600 will do, just not $800 that is only $200 below the upcoming S8 and S8+ which will have proper 2017 flagship specs. XZ Premium with better specs (I don't care about bezels) is going for only $700, so what's the point of getting this? Even the XZs with roughly the same specs, and even better camera, is only going for $700 officially, and with that, you already get a free $200 BT speaker (that sounds exactly as a $200 BT speaker if not any better), the same price as budget phones are costing today. It's like buying a flagship phone with a free budget phone inside, how awesome is that? That can't be any better. Seems like LG only learned their mistake with the design and build quality, but nothing else. At least Sony now learned many things (maybe not the design, but I have a thought that they have a better plan for that in the future) and started working out. Am I going too far already? Well sorry to bother you, but it's just that we really don't understand why this phone with yesteryear's specs needs a 2017 flagship price tag. Anyway that's just my opinion, and if you're bound to buy the G6, no one's stopping you from doing so, but we don't take responsibilities if you made a wrong decision of that, because buying the G6 for that high price is already a mistake when compared to buying other better flagships. Even the S7 Edge for $400 is a better deal. Looking forward to what the V30 brings to the table, but the G6 right now is a no-no for a flagship phone this year.

For €649, the XZs has the same specs, with only the bezel size being a differentiator (not a big deal since the phone is still a piece of beauty, and functionality>looks everyday). The XZs offers a free €169 BT speaker which is almost like offering a mid range phone with the purchase, how awesome is that?
