If yes uninstall and use the default message app that came with the phone. You can also download Google messenger app from the Playstore. if all these don't work then you check your message center number if it corresponds to your network provider. If that doesn't work then you backup your files, contacts and your stuff on the phone and do a soft or hard reset of your phone.

If the 68% STB Ratio is needed to pack the always amazing S-Force Front-Facing Stereo Speakers and incredible large camera sensors, that's totally an excellent thing. LG is asking $800 for a processor of yesteryear? Samsung is asking $1,000 for the unnecessary Iris Scanner and ugly front top bezel panel? No wonder Sony is coming back soon. Give the XZ Premium and XZs some proper marketing like Samsung and Apple and the two reigning top companies are going to be blown out of the water, and finally might wake people up to the fact that neither Samsung nor Apple is the best phone maker in the world. Sony is leading the DSLR, mirrorless, action, & point-and-shoot camera world, trashing everyone else away with awesome TVs, killing Microsoft's Xbox with the superior PS4, one of the class leaders in audio department, and once their smartphone area follows the same path, Sony will be one of the most successful brands in the world, like all of their products are top leading and no area is where they are failing. 2017 isn't over yet, and Sony still has a lot of impressive things to do at IFA 2017, and I'm looking forward for an Xperia Z comeback with the Xperia Z6 series (Z6, Z6 Premium, and Z6 Compact) or something else better. If only Sony was reading this, I would've loved if they get motivated by these ideas, and help them regain the title they deserve a long time ago. Anyways, I'm sorry if I'm too much of a Sony fanboy, it's just that my favorite brand is doing better and better every year, unlike Samsung and Apple who are just introducing new gimmicks every year, being only some are becoming useful.

As for the S8, it will have the iris scanner (which I'm not a fan of at all).
So overall I think that the XZP is better in therms of specs.
Design wize is something else - bezeless war is on. Also people have different tastes, so it's up to them. Personally I just love the monolithic design and dislike round corners on a phone. They seem cheap in my opinion but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

A real shame that the XZS isn't coming to the UK - it would be a dead certainty for my new phone. I have a fear that the XZP is just going to be too big for my taste and I really want that camera.

Yeah I just got the XZ as well because my note 4 died. I'm deployed to Europe and needed a phone so I got the XZ. Looks like I'm going to spend another $700.

You may have three degrees but a peanut paying job or responsibilities that make you want that one-year-old flagship, for performance purposes. There are places the iPhone 6S base model is over $1,000 now!!! I guess that's someone who understands nothing about inequality and financial freedom. Why buy at $799 when you can buy a substitute with a better BOM or wait for a price drop? Meh

[deleted post]G6 and S8 / S8+ are going to cost $800 and $1,000, respectively. If the two are going to be better than the XZ Premium and XZs, probably both are going to be like only $50 better. Maybe not at all (except the XZs which is obviously not comparable to the S8 & S8+ in *every way* only) so in the flagship category, I do find Sony to be the best bang for the buck
