I feel like Microsoft was not doing enough for Windows phone. If MS invested more in its operating system more and more manufacturers would be using Windows phone

I'm used to it, but I did try Windows 10, and to be honest, it was awesome. It had a beautiful, fluid UI and it was quite simple to use, but unfortunately, like you said, and like I said before, people care about the apps, so unless Microsoft starts investing in the Windows Store, Windows Phone will never take off or improve its market share.

And sure, try to blame me, I just said that I love Windows Phone, but it's not good enough for people to actually buy a Windows-powered phone. Learn to read, then come back.

put Android on it instead - that make it keep its price.

If a company cannot sell a product that is ultimately the companies fault not the potential consumers. It is the responsibility of the seller to make a product saleable not the potential customer.

Deal ! Windows ten is always better than Android, apps is the only one of their assets and I don't care about app gap ,I want a phone that run smoothly and have all the basic apps I need

vasra, 14 Mar 2017And nobody still cares... There are still millions of users of windows phone even if the percentage is small. Millions is not nobody. Heck there are even blackberry fans still out there in smaller quantities. The idea is if you can sell to some of these fans you're still selling. And if MS does do something with mobile in the future then fans would have built up loyalties to certain vendors by having good experiences with them. It's kind of like in Android you have these top vendors and the rest are not really selling as much.

Even though Windows is far better built than Android, users will still prefer the latter due to all the available apps. Don't get me wrong, I'm using an Android phone right now and it's OK. But just OK, as the memory management, battery management, user interface, menus, basic apps, email syncing are still far behind Windows in terms of features, ease of use, and development.

While in Windows I could get 4-6 apps open in the background on 1 GB of RAM without reloading, on Android with 2 GB of RAM I can only get 3-4 apps active in the background without reloading them each time I open them. And if I close them, some won't update - unlike in Windows where if I've closed an app, the updates would still work.
