AnonD-457355, 15 Mar 2017Can't wait for this to appear in stores. Hopefully it's no... moreI have never gotten this 'one hand' business. Obviously if you're doing that you're not paying attention to your driving, conversation, movie, or whatever else you're doing.

I have to agree with you...I'm a solid BB fan, still hanging on to my Z10 religiously. As much as i hoped for BB's success, I've cringed half a dozen times at their woeful efforts at marketing. Beginning with that embarrassing effort by the BB chief a couple of years ago. My face flushed with embarrassment at his terrible presentation. Even Alicia Keys couldn't save him. And its continued that way. Finally they seem to have gotten the message and handed off the torch to Alcatel. Here's to their success.

Again, for those who still can't compare things properly,
1. BlackBerry offers monthly security updates, on par with Google itself.
2. It costs to produce a quality physical keyboard with capacitative touch
3. It costs to have a team harden the Android kernel and monitor ongoing vulnerabilities
4. There's value to software such as the hub
5. SOC 625 is known to have be a very power efficient processor and combined with a 3500 battery, it's claimed to last for up to 2 days of use

The BlackBerry KEYone is powered by 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 2000GB via a microSD card and you want it at $325? yeah right why dont you ask for a free Blackberry Instead?

Yujikon, 15 Mar 2017Why does Blackberry never get it right?!
They sell old har... moreBecause CEO John Chen is clueless about the mobile phone industry. Because the company doesn't have a clue on how to market it's products.
Plaqueberry has yet to release a phone with top notch specs since the BBos 10 came out and consistently prices each model like it has them.
Management missed the boat on being a player again because they wrongly believe the market didn't like BBos and that the majority of the market still wants physical QWERTY phones.
This is what happens when you have accountants running the company and a CEO who doesn't understand the market. Another good example of this was what happened with Nokia with the ex-Microsoft's clown in charge Stephen Elop.

Yujikon, 15 Mar 2017Why does Blackberry never get it right?! They sell old har... moreAbsolutely, with such hardware, the phone is not worth the price. I wonder what happened to Blackberry guys' sense of business. It was a golden chance for them to make a return with this beautiful handset with a reasonable price of around $325.

Yes, 600 euros is a big money, but what it gives and how its optimised and secure- I think it's woth the money. Always it hurts the first time when money needs to be taken away, but in year of using Blackberry devices I weren't dissapointed at any point. I bought my 9900, Classic, when they came and prices were hight, but I not regreted them and I'm wont regret when I need to give away my 600 euros for this model when it will be awailable in Latvia.

The phone is really nice, I really, really liked it, but 600 euros?
And yeah, I get that the phone is aimed at business people, but it's still not worth 600 euros.
450 euros maybe.

Can't wait for this to appear in stores. Hopefully it's not as big as it sounds in the specs and you can use it comfortably with one hand. This has the potential to be the best smartphone since the BB Bold 9700 /drool.

Why does Blackberry never get it right?!
They sell old hardware for much money and then they wonder that they're getting trouble with their business.
